Hi Zappos People, I have purchased a few pairs of shoes from you. The latest pair did not fit exactly right so I returned them. Wow! You have the easiest returns possible! Printed out a return label, drove over to the local UPS store and voila! Returned! I'm tempted to buy more and more shoes from you now that I know how easy it is to return if necessary. Of course you have so many fabulous shoes I would have to take out a second mortgage... Thanks for making shopping and returning so easy.

Dear Business 2.0 Editors, I would like to have you consider doing a story on Zappos.com as a model for on-line business benchmark excellence. They are an on-line shoe retailer. They do everything right! Selling shoes on-line, where you can't try them on first may seem strange, yet every thing this company does is right on the mark! They give honest and very accurate details about the shoe one might purchase. Give pictures from every angle, give customer opinions about that particular shoe, relating to fit, size, comfort, and what other's may have purchased that is similar. They offer immediate returns, (you print out the return label from home) for UPS, and give exemplary phone and personal service to boot! Their prices are exceptional, and this company could outrank any business model on how to serve the customer right the first time, and for every next order they will continue to get. I cannot share enough with you about an "On-Line Gem" that needs to be shared with the world! I only wish I could work for such a great company! Obviously, all the behind the scenes work to get every detail to gel has worked! Thanks for listening. You have a goldmine opportunity in exploring Zappos. Zappos- I just have to say that you guys rock! I have been ordering shoes from you for over two years, and since then, I haven't bought shoes anywhere else. (Seriously!) You have an excellent selection of all types of shoes in all sizes. I have a lot of trouble finding shoes in stores because of my large size (15 4E), but you always have something I like. Your service is fantastic. I have never had to return an order. Shipping is ridiculously fast and ordering is so simple. I just wanted to tell you what a great job you have been doing and to keep up the good work. Thanks for the great service!

I cannot believe your website; I am so INCREDIBLY impressed!!! Finding shoes on your website is super easy because I can enter tons of search parameters so that I can find just the pair that I am looking for, or just browse in a certain section, and then I can see photos of the shoes from every angle. I ordered a pair of shoes from your website and I was SHOCKED to have them on my doorstep soon after. In perfect condition. And I love them. I just absolutely adore them. They are just as they were pictured and SO comfortable, despite their 3 ½ inch heel. You are the only website that I’ve ever encountered that will offer free shipping and actually get it to you in less than two weeks. And you offer free returns as well. I’m smitten with you guys. Please keep up the excellent work and I’ll never step foot in an actual shoe store again.

Thank you for this update, I thought it was fascinating. Over the past year the only place I have bought shoes from is Zappos. I have never been disappointed. Not only the great shoes, brands, styles, easy to use, better than anywhere prices, but it’s mostly the people. I talk to them, I trust them, I have FUN using this website, don't ever change that!!! I am disabled and can not always go out shopping for myself, but I never gave up my sense of style, Zappos honestly helped keep me going by allowing me to be self-sufficient, save money and keep my spirits up. I suffered many sleepless nights alone, but at 2am I could get up and at least browse through all the beautiful shoes and dream of places I would wear them when I felt better. All my friends and family are so sick of asking "Where did you get those awesome shoes, boots, sandals, etc." and hearing me say Zappos! I now own brands like Kenneth Cole and Steve Madden that I never thought I could afford. I hope someone reads this email because I can't thank you enough. Your loyal customer. Kirsten K

Dear Zappos people, I just had the best on line shopping experience of my life. I received two pairs of shoes just in two days; they were too loose on me. Only a quick phone call, very helping person came on line without putting me through voice mail maze. In two minutes or less I was taken care of. Two new pairs were delivered to my home in two days. A return mail UPS label will be mailed to my home in a few days. UPS will pick it up from my home. Why would I ever go to mall for shoes? I commend the management for having such a high standard of quality service.

When I called yesterday and told one of your customer service reps. my problem....we're leaving on vacation and I wanted to take my Keens with me...he managed to get them to me before we leave!! I'm VERY impressed with your outstanding service and customer satisfaction...I'm in a business where I talk to lots of people every day. Thank you SO much for my new Doc Marten's!!! I am a bartender and have been told about these shoes for years and have just now invested... thought I may have ordered one size too big but tightened the laces and they were just right. Just got off the phone with your operator as I found them a couple bucks cheaper on Doc. Marten's website....as I told the REALLY helpfull lady on the phone it wasn't for the money, it was to give you guys a heads up. As I told her you are an AWESOME company with totally high honers! I have made several orders via Zappos.com for perhaps over a year or so now. Reading the history of the creators of Zappos, I completely sympathize and agree. Sometimes it is so hard to find a shoe you like at one store, but they don’t have your size or color, so you have to traipse over to another store with hopes that your exact item will be there, waiting for you – its rightful owner. I love shoe shopping, and although there is something about the excitement of being in a mall and shopping for shoes, it typically turns out to be unsuccessful. Well with Zappos, I had nothing but over the top service and selection. Thank you and please keep up the fabulous work. I will certainly continue to shop exclusively at Zappos for all my foot-wear needs (and extravagant, impractical wants) ;-) Thank you for everything!

It really is the kind, polite, professional courteous folks who for many corporations and the dollar was always the bottom line. They forget about manners and human decency...You all have not. I just hope that whoever owns Zappos knows just how special you all are. In my heart, it is because how you all communicate with us that keeps me loyal to Zappos. Send this to your owner/CEO/supervisor/stockholders? (Whomever.) Hello! I just wanted to say that I don't see how you could POSSIBLY improve your service...you are the ultimate in all aspects of internet buying! Your choices are practically unlimited, your prices are good, your shipping is at the speed of light...AND you have never made an error on any of my many orders! When I need a pick-me-up, I type in Zappos.com and have a wonderful time shoe shopping....it's medicinal, it really is. My daughter loves the shoes I buy for her, and her 3 kids will say "Gran, can you get me some white Etnies?"...or whatever is the choice...and I order from you and they're here really fast! You guys are FABULOUS! I bought my first pair of shoes through Zappos at the beggining of this month (May) and have just completed my 6th order of shoes. That's 6 pairs of shoes in one month! Keen shoes are just the ticket for my active lifestyle. I teach 4th grade and then I take a 4-5 mile walk after work, Monday through Friday each week. In addition, I take care of my two grand children on weekends. I'm sold on Keen shoes because I have a high arch and these shoes make my feet so happy at the end of each day and each activity. The comfort and support can't be beat! But more important is Zappos service! I'm an online shopper, but Zappos is by far the best customer centered web site I've experienced. It is true that Zappos is a service that just happens to sell shoes. Thank you again for the your excellent service! If Zappos happened to sell other products in addition to shoes and handbags, I would order from Zappos again and again. A Big Online Shopper!
