These boots are totally gorgeous. I get compliments galore. They fit perfectly; the boot shaft does run a bit tall. They remind me of the type of boots that a cross between Out of Africa and biker chic.

Great look, but runs small... I wear a size 6. All the reviews advised going with 1/2 to a full size larger. I got a 6 anyway because that was the only size left in the color I wanted. It's snug fit and I can only wear thin dress socks with the boots. Still keeping them, hoping over time they will stretch or a cobbler can stretch them for me if wanted to wear sport socks.

These boots rock! Totally happy with these bad*%$# boots. They look hot and feel good on your feet. You should definitely buy a size up because they run small. Zappos got them there in less than 1 day. How? I don't know but it's all good!

First time & definitely not the last time!!!!!! This was my first time ordering from Zappos. I really appreciated the customer reviews & suggestions. I think that makes a huge difference when buying shoes w/out being able to try them on. I took the advice from previous customers & ordered a half size larger. I love the boots!!! Just what I have been searching for & for a great price-I just spent a weekend shopping in NYC & these boots could easily sell for HUNDREDS of dollars more!!! But the best surprise was the free up grade to overnight shipping! I ordered on a Wednesday evening, past 8 p.m. & received my boots by 1 p.m. the very next afternoon! I will be using Zappos again. And thanks to the customers who wrote in, it really helped with my purchase.

Super cool - I bought this awesome boot and sadly had to return it because the boot shaft was too tall for my short legs (I’m 5'4'') and I couldn't comfortably bend my knee. It looked great otherwise and was very comfortable in the foot bed. Oh to be a few inches taller!

LOVE Them - I got these boots for riding my motorcycle and love them. A little stiff, but I'm sure they will break in and yes, do order a 1/2 size bigger. I wear a 7 1/2 and got an 8.

Great Look, Style and Quality - The leather on the boot is similar to my black Frye boots. They will take time to break-in. I wear an 8 ½ and ordered the 9. This would be snug for someone who wears a true 9. This is a fitted boot as far as the ankles and calves are concerned. I have lean legs and would be uncomfortable tucking boot cut jeans into these. They look great though!!

I bought a size larger than I normally wear, and they fit well. The leather is a bit stiff, but I'm hoping they'll break in soon. I didn't have any trouble with the fit in the calf. There's even a bit of extra room. They look just as good as in the picture. I love them!

Crafted wrong - These appear to be crafted out of an improperly cut sole and last that is pigeon toed. The shape of the sole causes the toes to hit the sides while there is still width on the opposite side. I am an 8 and I ordered two pairs-size 6 UK 8 and size 7 UK 9. The larger size fits comfortably but leaves my foot with excess room. My true size fit snug with exception to the weird shape of the footbed. Given a choice, I would only feel comfortable with the larger size- but granted, it's not a decent fit. The leather is oiled and very heavy, these will break in nicely, but the small loops that hold the straps in place have broken free from the strain. All this before I have worn them outdoors. Love the stitching, love the style, but wait for them to go on sale and grab them in a size larger than normal.

Great Boot, But Tight Euro Toe Box - Hello, Boot looks great, leather is a bit stiff but not uncomfortable. The boot is about a size smaller than marked. I wear a true American size 10 narrow, this boot fits more like a 9-9 ½ narrow. It is very tight in the toe box considering it is rather rounded. I couldn't wear any socks at all with the boot, just stockings. I am going to order another pair to see if I get lucky and find a pair that is just a wee bit bigger.

Gorgeous, but cut small/narrow - I agree with the previous review, these boots are small. I am a size 8 ½ with narrow feet, and I ordered a 9, and it *just* fits. I couldn't wear them with thick socks. I will probably have a cobbler stretch out the toe box slightly. The shaft is also cut very narrow -- I have thin legs with calves that are muscular, but not big, and it's a tight fit. I would say that people who have "normal" calves, not even large calves, may have trouble with this boot. That said, it's a great boot; it looks incredibly cool, and it's so hard to find boots this tall. I am 5'8" with long legs, and most "knee high" boots go 2/3 of the way up my calves. These hit just below my knees, and I love them.

Euro-tight! Am a classic American 8, every shoe has had true fit. Unless it is French or Italian, then I order a size up. This felt like couture-fit. Width is true, but felt a full size smaller all around the shoe. Have moderately large calves and neither boot would zip up...even with undoing buckles and there is a small elastic vent for some give. The leather quality is beautiful, and the design is masterful. I may order a size up and have them custom altered for help in zipping them up. Good for very-very skinny calves. The height of the shaft is excellent, almost right under the knee and I am 32"-34"leg, height 5'7".
