Ted Baker is one of the best shoes I have ever owned. People who complain about the sole have clearly never owned a pair of designer shoes before. You must take the shoes to your local cobbler and have him attach an after-market sole on the bottom of the shoe... didn't it seem weird when you were sliding around while walking?? I've had my current pair for 2.5 years and I basically have worn them at least 5 days a week during that time period. Very well made shoes, which is why I'm buying a pair again.

Do not buy these shoes! While I love Ted Baker for suits and shirts, these shoes were awful. I bought them for the style but the quality is very poor. Within a few weeks of wearing them the sole wore down and once I went out in the rain I could feel the dampness through the bottom of the shoe. Thankfully Zappos were brilliant and gave me a full refund. Stay away from these and buy Ted Baker shoes with caution!

Exactly as described! Comes with an extra pair of laces (brown), but the plum ones are much cooler! Keep in mind that it's a very slim sole, so don't expect a tennis shoe feel. If you want the latest look to go with form-fitting pants, these are it! I liked them so much, I bought them in black as well.

Very nice shape. Not as pointy as the still image suggests. I am between sizes. I opted for the smaller size. The leather has not yet stretched. Shoe feels very well constructed. This shoe is relatively slim for the US.

One of the most stylish shoes I've seen. Simple, clean lines, with almost no embellishment. Retro design with gobs of modern sophistication. I got compliments from people who normally wouldn't even admit that they had noticed I was wearing any shoes. Beautiful leather upper. Extremely comfortable. Soft and easy, but durable heel. Only downside is the sole. Much like others have experienced, if this is an everyday shoe, you'll want to see a cobbler for a sturdier sole after a month or two (depending on how much time you spend on your feet). Overall, best shoe purchase I've made.
