I was looking for a simple watch to track my heart rate and calories burned during gym workouts and this watch is perfect for this! So many watches are very complicated with lots of bell and whistles. This is simple, straightforward and easy to read. I love it!

Because I have completely given up on Polar brand due to their short life, Own Zone never working properly, and sometimes overly complicated features (I kept going up in price point hoping that would give me better quality but it just gave me more features I didn't need), I decided to try this brand, which I'd never heard of previously. I've had it just over a month but it's just as one review posted said, easy to use and basic. That's all I need. I like the fuchsia watch band, some might not. The chest strap is why I gave it 4 stars for comfort. The adjustment clips are what bothered me at first, not the front hr detector. Now, I'm used to the feel of them and they don't bother me anymore. It's not that the clips hurt, they don't, it's that the way they are situated on the strap is different from the Polar's I've used. So for my purposes at the gym, this monitor suits me just fine. I don't think it has Own Zone as I have to look at my watch when the gym is busy to make sure my hour is where I need it to be. But honestly, Polar's didn't work half the time anyway.

I found the Suunto M2 to be just what my trainer wanted. It is easy to use and very accurate. I've checked the accuracy when I was on the elliptical and the tread mill. My heart rate on the watch and the machines was the same. So, when not on the machines, I know that my HR is correct. Also, the chest strap, I really forget I have it on. The watch looks very fashionable and is comfortable. I gave it an overall four because, even though the numbers are large enough, at my age, I need my glasses to read the prompts. If you have 20/20, you won't have a problem.

I've been very happy with this watch as a HR monitor. Easy to use (the instructions that come with it are not much help but the online guide was good) and the chest strap is comfortable. The watch strap works but is a little small for a man's wrist. I also wish it had a back light as the display is a little hard to read in low light conditions and impossible to read at night. For the price I'm very happy with it, though again, i only use it a HR monitor. I would not use this as an everyday watch.

Love this monitor. It's easy to use, accurate, and the strap is comfy. Much better than my Polar because it's so much more user friendly.
