I ordered the Suunto Core Regular black watch for a motorcycle trip I was taking throughout Vietnam. The watch worked great. As a photographer and videographer I appreciated the large and distinct font type. I often relied on being able to take pictures of the altitude and heading on the watch and used them as markers in my image series. The watch went through massive rains, constant g shock and high sun exposure and everything works great and looks great. Highly recommend this watch.

Was thinking of getting the G-shock then a friend told the Suunto is a better built watch. I love it, comfortable, more stylish than the G-shock I think. I got the military black, it's awesome.

This is nice and lightweight, with good sized face. It has not scratched up yet after a month of use. The altimeter has much less drift than Nike Oregon/Livestrong watches did. It sits with lower profile to the wrist as well. Overall I am very happy with this watch.

I ordered this watch to replace my old Timex Iron Man watch, and I couldn't be happier. The display is large and clear, its easy to use, and it looks cool. I've gotten several compliments on it. It has a high quality feel to it. I am happy with the purchase.

This was a last minute "spur of the moment" Christmas stocking stuffer purchase for my husband. Surprisingly, it is one of his favorite gifts. I suppose it is because the watch is very gadgetry and men do love their gadgets. I substituted this watch for my original choice because of the customer reviews. I am glad I bought this item and would recommend it to others. By the way, your customer service is the best (along with Chase Sapphire) I have experienced.

Great watch! Super accurate, perfect for hiking and outdoor activities. The orange band gets a bit grimy within a few months but you can order a black band from Suunto which looks very sleek.
Brands I'd also recommend: North Face, Patagonia, Marmot, Mountain Hardware

So far so good - Great watch...Have owned it for a month now...Got it to aid in my back country adventures hiking, hunting, wild plant gathering, desert exploring, etc...I'm a bellman at a hotel as well and find it equally useful there...it is tough enough for the back country and looks sharp enough to wear out for a night on the town or at work...unlike some of the other abc watches...my only complaint is that it is not solar powered...if Suunto could fit that into this watch it would be the perfect watch...there is a lot of talk on the net about these watches failing after some time but I haven't seen any sign of that yet...

I first saw this watch on another website and I ordered it. They took forever to get it packed and it wasn't going to make it here on time. I checked on Zappos and fortunately they had it. I always know I can count on Zappos to get it here fast! It made it in plenty of time.

I own the Suunto Core All Military Black. So far I have been pretty happy with the altitude, barometer, and compass function. A few things to keep in mind before buying this watch. 1. You need to calibrate the altitude and barometer to get an accurate reading. You can attain this through a topo map and checking the weather report for the area you plan on using the watch. 2. The reverse display is hard to read at certain angles and light. 3. Backlight will blink when used in conjunction with the compass mode to save battery life. The bezel feels kind of cheap, it would have been nice if it was rubber coated. A great improvement to the Vector since it has a crystal face instead of an easily scratchable plastic one. I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

This watch case measures 50mm across, and 14mm deep. The outer dial does turn if you want to set a bearing. The buttons are not labeled so you need to memorize what they do. This watch is truly amazing in its functionality and the ways you can customize it. It is challenging to hold the watch level enough for the compass to work properly. I also recommend the Suunto Lumi, which has the same functionality minus the adjustable compass dial, because it comes with a mini screwdriver to remove the band and put the watch on a neck-cord. I decided not to keep this watch because it\'s not sized for a woman\'s wrist. I would certainly recommend it to a man that wants these features.

This watch does it all. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the watch band looks cheap and the barometer takes the temp of my body heat vs the surrounding temp. It is noted in the instructions of the temp correction. I believe I might retire my Luminox, and I love my Luminox because of the features the Core has.
