Great shoes! Love that they are wide for my son's feet. Comfy and easy to get on him (he's 2). They are his favorite shoes--the only ones he'll wear, actually.

Love the free shipping both ways. Makes me want to buy more from Zappos. The shoes came and thankfully I chose the right size but knowing there is free shipping to ship back is amazing! These shoes seem nice and stable and my 2 almost 3 year old didn't say they hurt at all. I usually expect shoes to hurt on the 1st wear but he wasn't complaining.
Brands I'd also recommend: fossil for women, love my flats with a buckle

I love these shoes! They are easy to get on my two year old and he moves easily in them. He has wide feet so finding shoes that fit for some length of time is my goal. The treads do hurt on bare feet - I just watch where he steps around me. I totally trust Zappos to deliver.

I wouldn't recommend these for toddlers, and especially not for infants. I bought them for my 2.5-year-old, and they're heavy and difficult to put on.

My 2 1/2 year old son has been wearing these shoes for almost a month now and he says they are very comfortable (he complains a lot about sore feet with other shoes, so this is a big deal). They seem to have some arch support, which is uncommon in little kid’s shoes. It seems to me Stride Rite design shoes with little feet in mind, as opposed to other mainstream manufacturers who just make cut-down versions of adult shoes. He's an active kid and so far they look practically brand new still. They are slightly heavier than the Reebok RealFlex's I also got him, but that's a small trade off for this level of comfort and durability IMO.

Robust shoes. These shoes have good traction. My 18-month old LO has been scrambling around playgrounds in them, and he's been able to climb in them with no trouble. They don't look worn even though he wears them nearly every day.

I'm a little disappointed in this shoe. We bought them after my 2-year-old managed to wear a hole in a pair of cheap shoes in one month. So I sprung for real shoes. Sure enough, they have withstood his abuse for several months now. They're easy to put on and take off, and he seems to like them. The navy and orange seem consistent with what I am seeing on my monitor. The one thing that bugs me is that the tongue of the shoe keeps slipping down. Stride Rite fixes this with some other models by putting a tiny piece of hook/loop material on the tongue and the top strap so it won't shift. This shoe doesn't have that, and I am constantly repositioning the tongue. Perhaps that is an indication that I bought the wrong size, but he was fitted at a Stride Rite store, so I hope that isn't the case. I've also found that we really need a waterproof shoe. I won't dock any stars because of this - no one claims this shoe is waterproof - but these shoes have spent a lot of time out of commission since the kid can't seem to resist stepping in puddles this winter. They don't do me a lot of good sitting on a shelf air-drying. All of my future toddler shoe purchases will be waterproof shoes.
