About one month after getting these, the velcro straps were constantly coming undone. My son likes them (especially the light-up feature) but the shoes look like hand-me-downs because they are always open. Very disappointed.

I bought these for a toddler in AFO/braces. It's hard to find "cool" shoes for children in braces. These light-up shoes are a treat. Remove the bottom pad to better fit a brace. Watch out the for the toe box cramping the outer toes though. You might need to glue/cement double-sided Velcro onto the strap to get top strap to close, but it's still worth the effort for a happy Toddler.
Brands I'd also recommend: New Balance XW, Hatchbacks
