This shoe has one flaw that makes all other good qualities not to count. The tongue extends too far and rubs against the leg. Especially when the leg bends. After one day of wearing my son's legs in those places got really red and even swollen. He really loved the design but he didn't want to wear them again because they hurt. It is possible to pull the tongue out so it's sticking just above the top velcro fastener. Then the problem is gone, but the look is weird. Unfortunately I was not able to find any summer light up shoes with a closed toe. I hoped that these would be "it". Back to search.
