My son absolutely loves Star Wars and these shoes were a must for him. He wears them every day, and we are happy with the purchase. I do have to point out that the Velcro strap is thick and doesn't hold the feet as any other strap shoe, and they feel wider, as his feet move inside. Even with this they are nice shoes, especially if your kid feels happy to wear them, that is worth every dollar spent!

My son loves these shoes. They've been comfortable and are easy on/off. However, one shoe quit lighting up after 3 months. Neither shoe has had anything extreme happen to it; just normal wear. I'm really disappointed. For the price, I expected the lights to work longer.

My son loves these shoes! He is currently obsessed with Star Wars and when I saw these I knew they would be perfect. The only flaw is that one of the shoes flashing lights are already going bad and we have only had them a couple of months. I also love shopping through Zappos since I have a boy and he hates going shopping and more than that hates trying stuff on, so I buy from them, try it on at home, if it doesn't work out, return them and try again.

These are cute and fit well. However, my son wore them for about an hour before one of the shoes stopped lighting up. I am hoping that it was a defect and I will try to exchange them. Otherwise would have given them 5 stars.

This was positively the best customer service I have ever received. I ordered these shoes during Christmas on a Thursday night, the box was on my front porch on Friday afternoon. Incredible how they were able to process and ship these shoes from Louisville, Kentucky to Dallas, Texas in less than one day. Oh and the shoes were perfect! Thank you Zappos. These are great shoes! Unlike other "light-up" shoes which are usually heavy / clunky, these are very light-weight and flexible. My extremely active 4 year old son loves them and enjoys showing them off to everyone. My only complaint (if you want to call it that) is that the rubber piece on the toe is very small - so the front of the shoes have gotten very scuffed after only 3 weeks of wear. It doesn't bother me (that's what 4 year old boys shoes look like), but my husband wants shoes to look "clean" and he is bothered by how scuffed the front of our sons shoes have become. As it relates to size, my son typically wears a "M" width, but in Stride-Rite, he needs a "W", which is what I ordered him this time and it fits great.

These shoes came sooner than originally expected, which was great! My 3 yr old grandson loves them! I expected the white would get dirty very quickly, but it hasn't. Well worth the price.

I purchased these Stride Rite Star Wars shoes for my grandson who, at 4-1/2, is really into Star Wars anything. Every time I see him, he is wearing them and he races his little buddy in pre-school who has the same pair to see who is the fastest Jedi.

My 6 year old son loves them, but they are a mess. Within a month the strings hanging, velcro not holding very well, messy, misshapen.

Searched for a light up,W or XW, flexible,lightweight shoe, with velcro (at my son's request). Not easy to find at a size 2. Bought this for my 7 year old came in a wide (F.Y.I single straps do not work well for wide feet). Left foot lights went out in 3 months, and seems came undone in 5 months. The strap is on the short side (shoemakers need to make straps longer for widths). We have always bought Stride Rite shoes since he started walking this is the first time I have ever been disappointed - poor quality for 7 year old. Would not recommend this shoe.

Just received these on Monday and my 6 year old son has not taken them off. Good Stride Rite construction and we love the fact that my little guy can see the lights since they are on the top of the shoe. The velcro works well and is easy for him to take on and off. The cool Star Wars design is a huge plus.

I ordered these for my son because he needs a wide size shoe, which it seems like I can only find at Stride Rite. They arrived the next day and he was so excited to put them on. But then he started complaining that one shoe was tight, and sure enough when I felt it the entire back heel of the shoe was defective. I returned that pair and ordered another. When the new ones arrived they were great, and he loves to wear them. He especially loves the lights.

My five year old son loves "Star Wars" and loves these sneakers. He saw them at the mall, but they were cheaper at Zappos. He wears them every day, they are very comfortable and very easy to put on because they have just the one large Velcro strap. They have blue lights, which are lots of fun when it gets dark out.

My son loves these! They have nice secure velcro, but the kids can still open and close with ease. The lights are cool. My son grew out of his and so we ordered a second pair.
