My son is just starting to walk at one year. I never put shoes on him until this point (except for show), so he really needed shoes that would be as flexible as walking barefoot. These shoes are perfect for my first time walker because the sole is such a flexible, yet durable rubber material and still has great traction like a regular shoe so that he will not slip! They may be a little on the pricey side, but I am so glad that I bought them for my little one. I would definitely recommend these for any child beginning to walk.

The shoe was great for my 11 mo. old as he started to walk but his foot was so wide that the velcro would never stay together. Ended up losing one of the shoes after only one month. Maybe we should stick to laces.

These were the first shoes we bought for our son and thye are perfect. There really easy to take on and off. The first time he wore them after we took them off of him he carried them around and kept wanting us to put them back on his feet. Sadly he's growing out of them now and it's time to buy another pair of shoes. Hopefully I can find another pair as good as these. Well worth the money
