My daughter is very happy with her new pair of shoes. The soft brown part has somewhat more 'glitter' elements in it than I anticipated looking at the pictures online. Whereas I am personally not so much of a fan, my little one loves her shoes with golden sparkles as she calls it. The shoe fits well and looks like it has the good quality of other Stride Rite products. My girl says the are very comfortable.

I reordered these shoes, after the 11½ was way too small. I previously suggested ordering 1½ sizes larger; I did that and the shoes are way too big. I am at a loss, but luckily found a great pair of Saucony Crossfires shoes in a size 11½ from this site that fit great.

These shoes are very cute and lightweight. Ordered a size 11.5 for my 6 year old. They were WAAAAY small. Compared them to a pair of size 10 Puma's and they are the same length and width. I would like to reorder but a little unsure about the sizing. I just sent back a pair of Stride Rites yesterday (different style),in a size 12 that were huge. I would suggest ordering 1 1/2 sizes larger.

I see there are other reviewers who mention this same issue...there seems to be something defective with the size of these shoes. Our daughter is an 8.5-9 Toddler size. We ordered 8.5 and they were way too stiff and small, so exchanged for size 9. Same problem! She was very uncomfortable in them. Now we have to return them again, and get a completely different pair. We've never had this problem with Stride Rite. So very odd and frustrating!

Cute shoe, good structure, but horrible materials. We had these for 1 month and they were completely torn: the material started to wear fast since day one, but after 3 weeks of moderate use there were tears as big as a quarter, the velcro did not work at all anymore... Don't buy this shoe. I bought from striderite, and I have to say, their customer service was good at least, and I got my money back. But now I am buying a shoe from a different brand.
