These are great shoes for a toddler. My 2 year old is able to put these on without help. The soles are much thinner and more flexible than regular sneakers - like the soles of first walkers. My son wears them without socks and does get dirty, stinky feet!

We went with these because the sole, as in other SRs, has a bit of flexibility. The uppers are very well made with adequate stitching and whatnot. We ended up putting my son in socks when he wears these because of the foot odor that accumulates. The first couple of times he wore them, there was some redness where the top of the tongue met his ankle. I must say these shoes are tough to clean. After a run-in with some Georgia clay, we've been unable to restore the shoes to their original beauty.
Brands I'd also recommend: Keen Newport, Teva, Crocs

Super cute shoe! I ordered the "wide" and they seemed a little narrow. Too bad they take more than the 5 second maximum time allowed to get shoes on my 1 year-old! They will go back. We're keeping the Crocs that we ordered. Super cute and easy to get on him!

Cute shoe and fits well, just like the other SRT versions he has worn. This shoe is more sneaker than sandal, but after last summer's Keen that made my son's feet stink, I was looking for a summer shoe he could wear socks with.

Perfect shoe for wide feet! It's like a sandal, but can also be more like a sneaker with the toe box and a pair of socks. Adorable and fit my little guy's fat feet perfectly. Runs wide, but didn't feel that the double wide was any wider.

Very shoddy quality - my advice is to lift the insole and check the stitching that joins the sole and the sides of the shoe. In one shoe it was already coming apart when my order arrived. Of course they went back right away. Also don't have much arch support.
