My son loves these sandals. They fit him well and he can run and play in them no problem. They are nice for going out or casual enough for play.
A fan of Stride Rite sneakers, but for some reason, the cute sandals don't fit right. My child wears a 5.5 with a little room for growing, but the 5.5 wide in these shoes his toes are almost at the end. Also, his foot is taller and even the wide doesn't help accommodate the height of the arch. Will stick with the runners. Too bad, a good looking and well made shoe.

It's hit-and-miss with Stride Rite for us regarding size - my 21-month-old has a wide/thick foot, and sometimes wides fit, sometimes they're too small. Unfortunately, it's hard to find wides in other brands, so kudos to them for carrying a larger array. The wides in this style fit my toddler to a T! The lining appears supple and comfortable, and the shoes look well-made - no frayed stitching, no fraying nubuck. Being made of nubuck, they are a little more casual-looking than the regular leather ones, but not much (I actually was hoping they WOULD look more casual...). My ONLY concern is that though the description on Zappos says the footbed is leather, after some inspection I truly fear it's faux leather, which means sweaty little feet! (The lining of the rest of the shoe does appear, in my non-expert opinion, to be leather.) We're gonna give these a try, though - as hard as it's been to find the right shoe for this boy, the fit is just too great not to try these out!

I just received my order and the shoe really looks better in person. I also did prefer the nubuck leather than the shiny leather version. The shoe seemed comfortable enough and very easy for my 2-year-old to put on and take off himself. Shoe is fashionable and neutral to match most outfits and can be worn either casual or dressed up. I will wait and see how it holds up for the upcoming summer months. I have always shopped Stride Rite and have not been disappointed. As always doing business with Zappos is fabulous.

Great shoe -
I would recommend this shoe - it holds up well and keeps it shape. My son loves them. It is true to size and very stylish.
