This is the longest lasting sneakers my 5 year old son has ever had without holes or parts peeling off...he's worn them all day every day at school and play from Sept.-Feb. and just now replacing because the cushioning in the heel is gone. The look and everything else is still in great shape. I'm reordering.

My toddler has an XW foot and Zappos is the best place to get his shoes for a fair price! These shoes are awesome and very durable. Love the dark color and material -- great for hiding the dirt.
I'd also recommend: New Balance

My son has been wearing these for a few years, we just keep getting bigger sizes! He wears XW and even some XW shoes won't completely strap, but these are great. He raced around the house when we tried them on to see if they were faster than his old pair, luckily they were. :)

I just ordered my sons' 3rd pair today. Not because they fall apart, on the contrary, my son's feet keep growing and he LOVES these shoes! They hold up really well and provide great traction. My son is ridiculously active and has always worn out his shoes before he could grow out of them until we starting buying these Stride Rites. I highly recommend these to anyone whose kid is very active and who wants a quality shoe at a great price!

My 3 year old destroys his shoes within months...no joke! These shoes are awesome, I really like Stride Rite brand and these do not disappoint. They are durable and really cute. He likes to be able to put them on himself and the velcro bands make that easier.
I'd also recommend: New Balance
