Great Shoe -
We got these shoes for my son who's almost 3. I love Stride Rite and he loves trucks so they were perfect. They have good arch support for the age, look great, and he seems perfectly comfortable. The shoe is a bit stiff; I pull the straps because he wouldn't have the strength to adjust them. It's also true that the straps only make it about half way across when it's worn. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars overall, it just doesn't need to be that stiff. It's not a big deal to me though, and once they are on we love them.

My son LOVES his "bulldozer shoes." We've bought three pairs of these shoes so he can continue to wear them as his feet grow. The velcro opening is nice and wide so we don't have to struggle squeezing his foot in them. They clean up well and they appear to be well made and flexible. These shoes are in good enough shape to be worn again by your younger child even after lots of use by our older son.

OK sneakers for the little guy -
Not in the mood to pay a lot for a pair of summer sneakers I knew my 4 year old would immediately trash, so I bought these. You get what you pay for! They're clearly not as good as his previous Superball shoes, which he adored as he claimed they made him run really fast. They're also kinda hard to get on his wide feet as the opening is really stiff and the back part (with the little loop) is high and always gets turned under; I have to yank it back out every time. In the end, they're just wide sneakers that fit and that he'll wear as he loves the tractor on them.

Too small -
My son is a 7Wide but these shoes are tight. I just went to Stride Rite to have him fitted again because they seemed to fit so tight. He measured 7W. They said they would stretch but instead they broke his toe nail. He has other SR shoes and when you hold the new ones up to them the new ones look much smaller

Great Shoes! Way Oversized!!
These shoes are great! My son loves them. However, the shoes are sized about 1 size too large. I ordered an 8 1/2 wide, and they were about a 9 1/2. When you hold them next to his New Balance, and other shoes they are a lot bigger. Once I received the correct size, they were fine. Just something to keep in mind...

You can't go wrong with Stride Rite -
My son has only worn Stride Rite shoes since he was 9 months old. He has never complained of any discomfort nor have I ever noticed any. Since he has an extra wide foot, shoes similar to one's the other kids wear are next to impossible to find. He was very excited with these because of the construction vehicle on them.

5-Year-Old Likes -
My 5-year-old son loves these and is learning to put them on himself. It is somewhat difficult, even though they have Velcro straps because it is hard for little hands to loosen the straps enough to get the foot in. He has not had any blisters or discomfort from the shoes, other than sometimes not being able to adjust the tongue to the correct position by himself.

Bulldozers are really fun -
My 2 year old son loved these shoes right away because of the cool 3D bulldozers. I think they are a little narrow on him because the velcro straps sometimes come undone and I think I have them stretched as far as they will go.

I love the Stride Rite brand. Their shoes are durable, easy to put on and take off a jumping toddler, with the two straps. They have a wonderful selection.
I have purchased about 5 pairs in the last year.

Sized really large. These shoes seem to be sized 1 size too large. I had to take them back to an actual StrideRite store, and they sized my son's foot at the size I had ordered, but they were still about 1 size too big.
