This is my 2nd year coming back for these shoes! They are a very cute style. Cute enough to wear with a dress, but rugged enough for the playground. My daughter is 2 years old now and Id say she has a pretty average foot, neither very chubby nor very slim and these shoes fit her great! I only wish they made more colors!

My fault for not reading the description more carefully, but we've ordered Stride Rite shoes in the past & been impressed by the quality, comfort, & fit. I was expecting these to be leather, but they're entirely synthetic. I've had a couple of pairs of synthetic shoes for my daughter in the past that were fine. These are not. The sole is so slippery, I just imagine my daughter's sweaty summer foot sliding around uncomfortably in there while she gets blisters on the sides of her feet from all the sliding sweatiness there. These are cute shoes, they fit well, and the covered toe is nice -- they would probably be fine if worn with socks, but then what's the point of wearing a sandal?
