Awesome shoe for my toddler! We wear them almost everyday, so they have received a lot of wear and tear, and have held up perfectly. They appear to be very comfortable for his wide feet.

I had to return and reorder these, because if I went by the size chart and my son's exact measurement, he ended up with rather tight shoes. Had to order a half-size to a whole size up to get room to grow. They're great, though. He has stepped into water in them and it hasn't hurt them, they grip the ground very well, and no blisters even though he has somewhat narrow feet.

I bought these for my 20 month old who has wide feet. The wide size fit him just fine and the sandals are adorable. I needed a dressier sandal for a special occasion and these were perfect. He can walk well in them too. I did however let him wear them around the house with thin socks on when we first got them to break them in. Zappos was great too, got them sooner than promised!

These shoes are wonderful. They fit my son wide foot very well. The are also not as chunky as some of the other shoes out there. I highly recommend them.

These are super cute shoes but I'm glad I read the reviews before I ordered them. They run about a full size small and are very narrow. I ordered a half size up in wide and they fit perfectly. I originally wanted them for a few months from now, so I ordered another pair.

These are the best shoes for my son who is now 4 years old and has been wearing them ever since he started to walk. Great fit and comfort. He basically lives in them.

I love buying my kids shoes from Zappos.com! The customer service is excellent. It's so easy- kids wake up, shoes don't fit (they always seem to magically grow at night and wake up a size bigger)... I go to work, order the shoes, and they arrive at our doorstep the next day. As for the Stride Rites, you can not go wrong. I like that they have extra toe protection so they are a perfect every day shoe for my three year old.

These shoes are great! My 3 y/o loves them! They look great for dressy and for casual. They did seem to run narrow. I had to buy my son the wides so they fit properly. The only issue I have with them is after my son wears them for more than an hour, his feet stink. So I've been spraying odor eaters in the shoes to keep it to minimum.

I'm returning these. I also got the First Mate style in the same size (7.5 W), which fit perfectly; these are too narrow. Additionally, they are lined with a somewhat rough fabric, which I can't imagine would be comfortable on a toddler's tender skin. But the footbed is lined with either suede or suede cloth, and it does feel like it would be comfortable on the soles. I'm disappointed these won't work out for us - they look terrific - I like the looks of them better than the First Mate, but comfort is an important factor, so back they go.

My son has very wide feet and I have a hard time even finding his size! These came in a double wide and they are perfect. Very cute on and he seems to like them.

This is the second consecutive year I've bought these and will continue to do so until they don't come in his size. My son can put them on and take them off himself. It's a great summer sandal that offers toe protection, which comes in handy at least twice a day! Nice quality, very durable, and he outgrew the last pair. They certainly had a LOT of wear left in them. Buy them, you'll love them, too!

Good sandal for extra wide feet -
I bought these for my son, who has extra wide and thick feet, last year and they held up well the whole season. He seemed to like them, and as choices are limited for extra wide toddler feet, we bought them again this year. I would prefer an adjustable back strap, as they seem a bit loose in the back while fitting everywhere else.

Terrific sandal -
These are wonderful, rugged sandals for a toddler. We're now buying a second pair after growing out of the first one. They are well cushioned with a flexible sole and straps that cover little toes for protection during play or falls. The versatile style works with pants, shorts, or dresses.

This is a great sandal. My son loves these shoes. Easy to take on and off. Also very supportive and dressy looking. I had to re-order the next size up, though, because they seemed a little small for the size.

Cute, nice looking sandal!
I bought these for my 1.5 yr old and he loves wearing them! He runs around in them easily and I've never noticed any rub marks on his feet and they seem to fit him perfectly, despite his large, thick feet. (He's usually wearing a size 6, now and I have a hard time finding shoes that aren't too tight over the top of his feet.) We try to keep these as his "dressy" sandals, so they haven't been subjected to a lot of messing around in the garden or hard playing that would otherwise really test their durability, but he does use them a lot and they still look great after 2 months, or so.
