These boots look great with skinny jeans or tights. I have very "athletic" big calves and they fit w/ skinny jeans no problem.

There is no traction on the bottom of these, but I loved them so much. So, I just put the little grip pads you can stick on the bottom of shoes. The boots slouch down an inch from the tallest point you can pull them up, too. But, over jeans, the stay up nicely. Nice suede. Spray with protective spray to delay water damage! There is really no arch support, but you can add in cushion. Ordering a size down gets you to your true size, but if you want to add some cushioning or support, then get your normal size.

These are gorgeous! I’m the picky boot girl that wanted a black suede low heel or flat, but with just the right amount of pointy toe. Think Cher in Moonstruck. I took a chance on these and they are perfectly pointed without being able to kill roaches in a corner. I was concerned that they might not fit over my calves, which has sometimes (not always) been my problem. These fit over snuggly and fit beautifully. I’m truly a 9 Wide, but ordered these 9s and they fit very well - just no thick socks or stockings.

I ordered these for my granddaughter who is a college student. She was so pleased and immediately worn them. It was exactly what she wanted. Thanks Zappos.

I was very excited to get this boot and, seeing the good reviews I figured it would be fine. However the boot look's really cute I feel like I got the wrong size. I ordered a 10 and, I couldn't get my foot in the shoe and a little hard to get over the calf. Even though the size on the box was right I just feel like a mistake was made. Even when I saw how cute they were the foot area looked small. Oh well they will be returned and, my boot search continues.

In my opinion, these boots are the only boots you'll need this winter (or at least for a desert winter). They are more fashion than function, but they match almost everything because the style is classic and simple. I have only good things to say about these boots.

The boots are perfect! They were a little snug at first but stretch out after wearing them a time or two. They fit easily over my skinny jeans and great to wear with skirts. I highly recommend these boots and have no complaints!

These boots are great! I ordered a size 7 1/2 which is my normal size, but they were a little snug. I called customer service that evening and they said that it would be no problem for them to send a size 8 and that I would receive them in 2 days. I received my new boots the next day at 2 pm! I couldn't believe it! They fit great. I could walk for miles in them. Very stylish with skinny jeans. Thanks Zappos! Great service!

Wow! This is my first time to order from Zappos. I received my boots the very next day! They are super cute and very comfy. They were actually a tiny bit big, but that's okay because I will wear thicker socks. I love these boots! Great price and incredibly fast shipping!
