Staub Reviews
I like my white Staub awfully, however I have to return it. I received the delivery this afternoon and only to find to cracks on the pot.
Great tajine! Staub really hit the mark with this one like they always do. I use coconut oil in mine when I am browning and there doesn't seem to be any issues with food sticking. Definitely use it on lower than normal heat even if you are trying to sear before you start your slow cooking.

This is a beautiful piece of cookware. It is so stunning to look at that you don't want to cook with it. When you do cook with it though, the results are incredible. I love cooking with enamel cast iron, and this is the only thing I will cook with.

Not really a review, just wanted to point out some mistakes in the video. Interior of the Staub Cocotte is not nonstick (0:38) it is enameled cast iron inside and out. Nonstick implies it has some short of Teflon coating... which you definitely wouldn't want to pass it along to your grandchildren. Check the FAQ from Staub's website.
The lid on my cocotte was somewhat loose-fitting. It rocked like a seesaw if you pressed down on one end. I live overseas part time and so it would be very expensive to return it. I frequently use it for braising; If saw any steam escaping I would just rotate the lid the other way and the steam disappeared. It works for me, but for such an expensive pot I expected a flawless construction. On the plus side, it is very versatile and I also use it for roasting whole chickens, lamb shoulders, slabs of pork belly, etc. I found that I used my rectangular roaster + foil a lot less after I bought this.

Excellent product. Works as advertised. Black, inner enameled surface hides staining (unlike Le Creuset).

I bought this pan from a different but reputable site. I absolutely loved it except for its' weight. It left perfect grill marks and was easy to clean. After less than six months use I was using it one night and it made this horrendous POP sound and it had cracked half way through horizontally. Even though I really liked the pan, when I returned it I did not trust it not to do it again and did not order another.
This is the best cookware I have ever owned. Slowly, I am replacing all my Calphalon & Magnalite with Staub. Clean up is a so easy, food braises very well, and it can go from stove top to oven. Plus it's beautiful enough to serve from. The only down side for some would be that it is a heavy piece; that's why I gave it a four on comfort.

Product is beautiful. I did a lot of research first and I would recommend this pan to anyone. It's certainly the last frying pan I'll ever buy.
Simply the finest chili pot in the world. Works great on the stove, in the oven, on the gas grill, in the charcoal grill, on the Big Green Egg. Easy to clean. The brass knob gets tarnished and looks better as time goes by.

I gave a Staub Coq au Vin 6 qt. Cocotte to both of my daughters this past Christmas. A huge success! Wonderful color, jolly Coq, and, best of all, the Staub ware cooks like a dream. It is astonishing how long it holds the heat -- and keeps cooking, even with the oven or burner off. Which leads to a warning: the pot, including the top knob, gets seriously hot.
Staub is not plain cast iron, which I love in it's own right, and is great for the limited budget. Staub is an enameled miracle that perfects the style of Le Creuset. The finish is so nice it seems like cast iron perfected, but it's not, it's enamel. From the knob to the base, it's just wonderful.
Gorgeous item, even a non-cook would covet. I made a chicken-in-milk recipe last week in it that was heavenly, browned the chicken on the stovetop and then baked it, then it cleaned up very well. So pretty I leave it out. Wish I had a bigger kitchen so I could get a giant collection of Staub to display.

I really like this pan. It makes great stews, soups, roast chicken. Goes from stove top to oven and retains the heat. I like the black interior which is easy to clean and doesn't stain and the lid with the natural basting points works well. It's heavy but that's not a problem for me; it wouldn't be all the above without the weight. All in all, a delight to use.
Great product, can cook like a slow cooker, nubby lid bastes the food so you don't have too, but can be used to brown the meat before use too, and can go into the oven. So beautiful I leave it out on my stovetop, stacks well (with top inverted)
Just perfect! Very pleased with it! Yes it's heavy, bulky and quite expensive but it's worth it! I baked a whole chicken in it and it came out so moist, flavorful! Pure decadence! My favorite is baking my bread in it! My breads turned out out of this world! They looked and tasted something you would get from the best bakery in Paris, France! I know a good bread when I see one! I am from France. Highly recommended.

This is an amazing product. Food really doesn\'t stick and clean up is easy. Slowly I am switching all my cookware to Staub. Keep in mind, it is cast iron, so it is heavy.

After putting up with lesser cookware that warped, causing hot spots and the resulting scorching and sticking of food atop my unforgiving glass top range, I finally bit the bullet and invested in this piece from Staub. It's not just a looks-nice-in-the-kitchen piece, it's a workhorse and worth every penny. I have the deep green Basil version of this pot, and the finish is beautiful. The rooster handle is not only decorative, but makes it easy to grasp the weighty lid. It is a heavy item, but the large open handles on each side make it easy to grip. I've used it both on top of the stove and in the oven, and there has been no more stuck food or burnt spots. Chickens and roasts cook faster than my old set up (foil over a roasting pan), and the moistness of the meats is amazing. I'm only sorry I didn't buy one sooner.

This dutch oven is wonderful! Very heavy, easy to clean, and the quality is superb. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality product. Shipping from Zappos was so fast.
