I love clogs, but as I age, the solid band across the top of most clogs hurts my foot. The elastic in the top band has solved this problem for me, and I can wear these comfortably. The toe box is narrower than most clogs (fits more like a shoe than a clog) but is not uncomfortable, just different from most clogs I've had before.
I'd also recommend: Really like Spring Step shoes!

Great brand of shoe for people who need a lot of soft cushioning and stability. Even though they look a little high you feel very stable in them. This is my third pair of Spring Step including two sandals. I would go up a size. I have tried many, many shoes due to nerve damage in my foot and I highly recommend this brand.
I'd also recommend: Easy Spirit Traveltime or Anit Gravity

These are very comfortable although a little heavy. I love the design. The black color veers towards brown with the beige markings.

These shoes are close to perfect. I bought mine in black, and each time I wear them- I get MANY compliments. Exceptionally padded footbed, plus an interesting design. Another positive point is that if you have a high arch, like I do... these give enough to not be a problem. Thus I am VERY pleased with my purchase, and seriously debating buying the red pair too!

Love this shoe! It is absolutely gorgeous in red and a real head-turner. I get loads of compliments! Ordered them a size larger in 42 and I feel like I could walk in them for miles!
