Red boots - everyone needs them. I was super-excited to try these, but they were unfortunately about a full size too big (I'm a 9.5, bot a 41, and probably could wear a 39 in these, which they didn't have so I couldn't exchange via the lovely Zappos service). Anyway, I attributed the Ronald McDonald look of these to the XL size, but the toe of the boot seems to be unnecessarily raised above your toe. Otherwise, they were comfortable and seemed well-made...sad about the size/look.

Pros: The outside is beautiful, comfortable, stylish leather. The inside is soft and warm. Cons: They do not provide good ankle support. (The comfortably flexible sole does not feel very sturdy and is probably to blame for this.) Also, they lack a zipper and I had some difficulty slipping them onto my feet. (I was unable to get my feet in them while wearing socks.) This problem will probably work itself out with wear since leather becomes more flexible once broken in. I will be returning these because I need better ankle support.

Shoe is beautiful, leather soft, but, opening too small to get my foot in. Would have been better if shoe had a zipper or slightly bigger circumference.

I agree with other reviewers and this boot is darling (dark red color is wonderful!), but very difficult to slip into. It really needs a side zipper. The toe box is a little roomier than I'd like, but I can't wear a sock because of the tightness in putting the boot on. They are very comfortable for all-day wear, though. I've kept them and will deal with the fit issues and they're too darn cute!

Oh so cute! But oh so difficult to put on. Like the others say, the boot could use a zipper. I'm keeping them - what price, beauty!
Brands I'd also recommend: Spring Step's Soho is also a great fit for me.

Who doesn't need red boots? This boot is comfortable and well-made with a soft inner lining, but it ran about 1.5-2 full sizes larger than I normally wear! I'm not sure if it was the size or the shape of the toe, but looking down at my feed reminded me too much of Ronald McDonald to keep had they fit...my size isn't in stock but debating whether to order when they come in.

I absolutely love these boots! I am usually a size 9M and often have to size up to a 9½M. I ordered the size 40 and they could not have fit more perfectly. The brown is much more attractive and stylish than the picture displays. I bought them to wear with jeans, slacks and leggings. They go perfectly with all three. There is a slight bit of a tug to put on, but not bad, oh so worth it! There is plenty of toe room on inside and extremely comfortable. Do not hesitate to order from Zappos. I have had nothing but excellent service, and friendly, helpful representatives each time I have ordered!
