I bought these boots to travel in Ireland, which is supposed to be very wet and rainy in the spring. We ended up having ten beautiful, sunny days and I never got to wear the boots. Well, I was so excited this morning when I woke up to a rainy Southern California day. I put them on and they were very true to size, fit well on my calf and were very comfortable. I purposely splashed through puddles because, one: it was fun, and two: my feet stayed nice and dry and cozy. They are so cute on, lots of style and fun to wear. I know I am going to have lots of rainy day fun in these boots, and I'll be styling all the way! Love Zappos, it's always a great shopping experience! I got the free shipping upgrade and had the shoes in one day!

These are really cute, but if you have larger than average calves (I'm 5'10" and mine measure 16"), the plaid design combined with the cross lacing and faux-fur tops make my legs look huge and squatty! Ouch! On the up-side, they were very comfortable and easy to take on and off, which, after I looked in the mirror, was the extent of my relationship with them.

I really wanted to like these boots, but they were tight in the calf yet bulged on the lower leg and were very uncomfortable to walk in. An odd fit. Sporto needs to go back to the drawing board on this one. Bummer!
