Splendid is the culmination of founder and designer, Moise Emquies' tireless search to find the softest fabrics and most color absorbing yarns in the world in order to create the ultimate t-shirt. After an exhaustive ten year search, he finally discovered the right combination: 50% Supima cotton (a luxurious cotton that gives the fabric body) and 50% micromodal (a form of rayon that is super soft and deeply absorbs dyes). "I had finally found a way to create the perfect t-shirt, a t-shirt deserving of the name Splendid, the ultimate, the best", explains Emquies.

In 2002, a full t-shirt line of nine simple silhouettes was launched and has since grown to become an extensive collection of not only t-shirts but tanks, thermals, dresses, leggings, and cardigans. Clean, simple and effortless best describe the aesthetic of the line, which can be seen in countless magazines, movies and television, and on some of the most famous women in the world.
