I really would like these shoes if I could get a pair that fits. I ordered 1/2 size down as suggested in the Spira description, but they were too short. I replaced them with my regular size, and they were too big...like boats on my feet! Otherwise, they're well made and nice looking shoes.

I took the suggestion to reduce 1/2 size from my regular size - perfect fit. As comfortable as the first pair that I had. Do not expect a pair of "springing" shoes, but they are very comfortable.

My dogs couldn't be happier, thanks for having these shoes available at a reasonable price. I've had a spring in my step ever since!

I manage at a Wal-Mart, and spend ten hours a day on my feet. After wearing these for one hour, my back and feet were already sore. I didn't notice any spring in my step. These shoes stink.

About Spira
Spira makes it easier to stand, walk, run and compete without the stress and fatigue associated with traditional shoe midsole materials. Spira heel and forefoot spring configurations are engineered for specific activities to meet individual needs. Sport Biomechanics, Inc. tested the WaveSpring™ technology and found it had the highest return of energy of any shoe technology they have ever tested — 87-96%. Traditional midsole materials work through compression and often breakdown quickly. The WaveSpring™ is mechanical. The spring will outlast the shoe. The wearer will have a "new shoe" feel from the first day it is worn to the last!
Spira believes the WaveSpring™ technology will revolutionize the footwear industry as well as the purpose and function of footwear. As soon as you step into a pair of Spira shoes you will understand why.

My husband loves his shoes. He wears them to workout in, and his feet are not fatigued. All other shoes he's tried have not given him such comfort.

My husband had a stroke and had to have a brace on his right leg. I ordered the Spira WaveWalker a half size larger than his regular size and it accommodated the brace. Because of the stability of the Wave Walker - his ability to walk is so wonderfully able. Thank you for such a great product.

Pleased with these shoes. Their natural foot shape made them comfortably wearable right out of the box -- no cramping of the toes or "bunion" spots. Not as cushioned as expected, though -- I don't feel the Spira "spring in my step" so much as I did with a previous style.

I wish the three spring design also came in a more business look. After suffering knee pain for a long time I tried Spira shoes. What a relief! It's been 2 years of pain free walking. Miracle shoes. I tell people about them all the time. The spring design really works.

Just bought the third pair. My husband has a bad pronation, and a recent diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis of the knees and hips. These shoes are the only ones that give him any relief and his job require 12 hours shifts standing on concrete floors. Love the wee balance springs in the heels!
Brands I'd also recommend: Would recommend to anyone with foot strike problems

A great shoe! Much better than the current competition -- i.e, GDFY (Gravity). Excellent for jogging and power walking.

Zappos website was easy to use, easy to find and order what I was looking for, and delivery was super fast. When I tried them on, my shoes fit well. Zappos sent a note with the shoes that made me feel secure that I could easily contact them and return the shoes if I needed to, but the shoes fit perfectly and I kept them. This was my second purchase from Zappos, very satisfied, especially with the service.

This is a very nice shoe. Fit is excellent and looks good. I bought it because of other reviews as to comfort working on your feet all day, this was a mistake. I have heel spurs and bought the shoe for this sole reason; big mistake. These are nowhere near as comfortable as my Skechers Shape-ups Works. I'm not disappointed with the shoe overall, just this aspect. Don't buy it if you want it as a work shoe, especially on concrete floors.
