- Contoured, 5mm EVA footbed can be removed to accommodate orthotics.
- Molded EVA midsole has a single WaveSpring® in the heel and a dual WaveSpring in the forefoot to deliver maximum shock absorption, reduce fatigue, and promote a very responsive ride. The WaveSprings are low profile, lightweight and are made of stainless steel so they won't rust.
- Built-in arch shank supplies added torsional stability and support.
- Blown rubber outsole with high abrasion rubber in the heel area, for long-lasting durability.
- Forefoot flex grooves allow for more natural flexibility through the gait cycle.
- Made on a semi-curved training last with proven fit characteristics.

My hubby can run again thanks to the support of Spiras. I have bad knees and wear the women's. I do not understand why anyone with knee problems would wear anything else!

Very soft shoe to run on if you have knee or back issues. I hated running on concrete before these and I can run forever on a treadmill with these. Much better than traditional shoes I've tried.

These shoes keep my husband mobile. Sadly, he has had three back surgeries and walking on hard surfaces is nearly impossible for him. He certainly does not run but these shoes greatly improves both his, and my, quality of life. We are grateful to Spira for the WaveSpring technology that makes such a positive difference in my husband's walking abilities. Three Cheers!

I had just received these shoes, and the initial look and feel was great. However, I quickly realized that the shoe was not true to size. I always wear a 10 in any athletic shoe I buy, and the fit is true to size. This shoe was at least half size too small. The width as well, is too narrow. I typically have worn a medium or D width shoe. I wanted to give the shoe a real chance, with the wave spring and all. So, I am doing an exchange for a 10.5 size. I have never had to go to that size before.
