This coat is perfect for my needs. I wanted a long, warm coat for my evening walks with our dogs when it's very cold out. I love the high collar to protect from the wind. I find that I need to be careful with the zipper, so it connects at the bottom and zips right. Other than that, it's great.

This is a good overall jacket. I am a wide 6'1" 210 pounds and I just fit into an XL. The Coffee Brown is sort of a Green/Olive color. The front pockets have sharp metal zippers. They kept cutting my hands so I had to remove them.

Like the previous reviewer, this jacket does run small. I am also a medium in most jackets, and the medium was too tight in the shoulders and hardly zipped at the bottom. Sadly, the large was way too big in comparison--too bulky around the middle and much longer than the medium. I ended up returning both. Super cute style if you find yourself a true between size kinda girl.

Strange fit...based on the reviews, I ordered a medium (my regular size) and large, for back-up. The large is going back because it is cut smaller than the medium! Nice jacket...just wouldn't know how to advise in regards to sizing. Edgy style - cute jacket.

This coat has a very attractive silhouette and is both light weight and warm. My main concern (and the reason I returned it), is that the fabric down seems thin and there is nothing to confirm that it is water-resistant (an important feature for a down coat). I didn't feel like the quality was worth the money. I opted for a less expensive coat that is more durable and still very warm (Larrey Levine Jade Coat).

Really cute jacket. Unfortunately it runs small. I ordered the size I wear in most clothes, a medium, and it was too small. Large had already sold out so looks like I'm out of a new jacket. It's a bummer because I really like the style.

I would have loved this coat if a couple of things were different. For those of us with broader, defined shoulder the seam puckering is not flattering and will probably not date well. Ditto for the cut on the back. If I didn't have broad shoulders, this would probably work fine. I love the color/fabric/quality, but have to return it for the couple of flaws.

Really really excited about this coat. I read every review on every site before I bought it. I am 5'3, 140 lbs with a large chest and the medium fit perfectly. I got the olive color which looks a little unusual on the site but in person is a perfect army olive green. It is pretty heavy but surprisingly flattering for the warmth it offers. My only complaint is the zipper! I had read some negative reviews which mention it but I thought I would take the risk. It is a cheaply made double zipper which is difficult to get started. Once you have it zipped up if you spread you legs even an inch the bottom half will pop open. But all in all this coat is a steal for this price, is warm and looks great on.

The good: Very stylish, well made, looks and feels expensive, heavy, cute. The bad: Runs really small. We ordered a large for my medium-sized daughter so she could wear sweaters underneath. Not only does it not even button (with no sweater on), it fits my small-sized daughter well. The ugly: No pockets on the outside. That's a deal-breaker for a winter coat in our family. We had considered ordering another size up, but when we discovered there were no pockets on the outside (there are inside thought), we knew it wasn't the coat for us.

Love this coat. I think it might be a little too big but it looks great. I haven't decided if I should go down a size. I might just buy the same coat, size down to compare. Either way, this coat is amazing.

I have the Warren Spiewak jacket and love it. I ordered this one in the same size - a small and the sleeves were way to short and the chest was constricting. I'm afraid to order a larger size because it will be massive around the torso. I'll try another style.

This is a really great coat. Exactly what I was looking for: lightweight, warm, uncomplicated styling, etc. Fits my 5'3 frame perfectly: sleeve length perfect and so is the body length. The best part about the coat is that it is lightweight and allows me to wear my normal winter clothes underneath without feeling tight or bulky. I never liked winter coats that forced you to dress light so the coat fit comfortably. This coat accommodates a mid to heavy weight sweater nicely. Was 19 degrees here in NYC with sharp winds and I was perfectly warm. The adjustable waist cinch is also pretty great. The hood can also cinch which I found really useful during a cold rain. Haven't noticed a feather problem like other reviewers. There is the occasional feather but nothing abnormal for a down coat. Enjoy!

My daughter wanted this parka for Christmas and was leaving for England. What's a mother to do...Zappos saved the day with free next day shipping. From what I hear she loves the product! I will order again and again.

I love this jacket so much that I half-seriously considered buying a second one as a backup for when this one gets too old. It's warm without being too heavy and bulky, it feels well made, and it has two zippers so you can unzip it from the bottom, as well. I was worried, based on another review, that the medium ran small, but it seems to fit true to size.

I am so impressed with Zappos. I cannot believe that it took me until now to discover with them! I ordered this coat after weeks of searching for a stylish winter coat that will keep me warm during the Wisconsin winters. I am 5'7" and 155 pounds. I ordered the Medium and it fits perfectly. I can wear a light sweater under it and I still have a shape! It feels warm and protects from the wind. I originally ordered the navy blue but returned it because it was so dark that it looked black, which I did not want. I then ordered the grey and loved the color. The inside lining is a deep blue which is a nice touch. I received my orders in one day, and the return was super easy! This is a great way to shop being a busy mom!

About coat color. The charcoal Heather is truly charcoal. Almost Black...not medium or lighter grey that appears here. I still like the color but was surprised that it was so off. Besides that this is perhaps the most Legit wool peacoat I have seen. A nice Wool Blend that does not feel cheap and "Felty" or spongy like most out there. More like Military Weight without being scratchy or annoying. Comfortable and not confining. Generous through body. Not designed just for skinny guys, but also guys like me who put on a few middle pounds this time of year. Still appears tapered and tailored for the most part. I like it and the price was great.

This coat seems very well constructed and good for cold winters. The hood is roomy and heavy! Unfortunately, the fit isn't perfect for me: tight in the shoulders and across the chest, but if I went up a size, it would be too big everywhere else. (I am 5'4" 130# with a large chest - I got a small.) I am keeping the coat because it fits the bill for commuting to work (via bus) in Boston, but I'll have to keep my ugly LL Bean puffer for shoveling snow, going to football games, outdoor play with my kids, etc.

I bought the gray color. I am in love with this jacket! The quality is amazing and the color is perfect. I love the hood as it contains a very nice soft faux fur, which feels great. The inside is insulated with a nice navy nylon. There is a small inside pocket to stash wallet or change. I am 5'3" and weigh 119 pounds. I bought a small. The sleeves and sizing is perfect. I probably could wear a medium but am afraid that the sleeves might be longer and I prefer a perfect fit, which the small is. I could fit a thick sweater under and the jacket does not feel tight. I really love this jacket it is stylish with quality all over it.

Runs small, size up if you want to wear anything more than a t-shirt. Great style. Don't know if it's winter warm yet, but will repost on that.

This is a really nice jacket and good quality from a classic company. The pricing was way more reasonable than Barneys New York. Thinsulate material is light and thin but very warm. The grey color is a mix between chamo green and grey, so beware that it is not as charcoal looking as the website. The other reviewer was right about pocket space as the front pockets are not very deep. Sizing is true to fit. I got a large and it fit snugg, not too tight not too loose. My chest/suit size is a 40, if that helps any.
