Great shoe! I have and old old pair I've been wearing for years and they finally need to go. I wore them so much the sole was smooth, the canvas stared to rip away from the heel. Considering I would wear these all time for many years they lasted a long time. Hopefully these will do the same! Only thing that is a bit weird is the canvas is a bit stiff at first so when I would walk it made a funny crinkly sound. I believe someone else said the same thing happened. Not a big deal as the more I wear them the less the sound is...more broken in.

God, I love these shoes. I've worn them my whole life. They're perfect for places where you need more protection than sandals but the washability/wetability of canvas and rubber.

Great fit, super style. Definitely a wide fit - these fit perfectly and I have a wide foot. The only gripe is not great arch support but they are boat shoes after all.

This is a hard to find a good canvas sneaker that offers a wide fit. Although the wide is not nearly as wide as many other brands Rockport, NewBalance etc. Good materials, quality construction and easy break in, all in a traditional styling. Maybe next time they will add more color choices. Let’s face it, most people are not buying these shoes for "yachting". Maybe to walk the dog on the beach or hike on an urban trail is more likely. Just enjoy the casual light canvas shoe that reminds me of my younger years and summertime. Good to see some traditional brand names are still around and make a good quality product. A fan returns.

These were my first pair of Top-siders, and I love them. They're the perfect summer shoe; I can just slip them on with no socks and take them to the beach or pool. Very comfortable, and good looks, too. I've gotten a lot of compliments. Great service from Zappos, as usual.

Zappos is an accurate description of this great on-line business. "Zap" and your order is there so quickly you may not have yet hung up your receiver before your order is there. I have ordered from them twice, and would rate them a definite "5" on their five point rating scale. Best customer support I have ever encountered!
