I fell in love with these boots and stalked them online for a few weeks before purchasing. I am so happy I bought them! I've gotten a lot of compliments on them because they look different than your typical rain boots. The interior is lined with a felt-like material that is soft and warm. These boots are really well-made. It's true they are a little weighty, but I don't find that to be an issue. They are a little snug - I normally wear 7.5 and the 8 I bought fits perfectly. I would order a 1/2 size up if you want to wear thicker socks. So happy with this product. It's flooding in Chicago right now and I'm actually kind of excited about it because of these shoes. THANK YOU ZAPPOS!

I like this rain boot. It's definitely something a little different. I have wide feet so they fit perfect for me. If you have narrow or medium width foot, there will be room, but I guess you can use the extra space for extra socks. I don't think my foot would fit with thick or extra socks. It's wider at the calf which I like, because I can stuff my pants down them. The color isn't Dark Navy! I believe it's how you look at them in the light, because its lining is blue, so it probably reflects a little to make you see navy, but this boot is definitely black.

These rain boots are exactly what I had been looking for. Like other reviewers, I had really been searching for a cute pair of rain boots that did not make me feel like I was wearing awkward and shapeless bricks on my feet all day. I am a teacher and our school has more outdoor areas than indoor so rainy days are a bit of a problem. We are in California so most of the time it is perfect. However, on those rainy days (like the ones we have been having), teachers spend a lot of time outside, wrangling kids and keeping an extra watchful eye on things. I needed a pair of boots that would keep my feet warm and dry for outside but would allow me the freedom to still feel comfortable walking around tiny spaces of my classroom. These definitely fit the bill! I was in them for 12 hours my first day and I had no complaints at all. These are excellent rain boots.

I have been searching far and wide for a cute pair of rain boots that keep my feet dry, warm, and don't cost me a small fortune, especially since I live in a state where it rains just about every day. When I saw these online and read the first review, I was really uncertain, but took a chance anyway and I just love them! They are true in color to what the picture shows, and the nicest part is they are lined with fleece (although thin, still nice and toasty). The laces are the cutest addition, although they serve no functional purpose. They are definitely wide on the top, but perfect if you want to tuck your pants into them. They are slightly heavier than other shoes I wear, but that's pretty typical for rubber boots (I walked all day on campus with them today and my feet are not sore whatsoever). The only thing I would suggest is to wear them with high socks if you aren't tucking in pants, because otherwise they make this funny hollow rubber noise against your legs when you walk. They'd also be fabulous with wool socks--I'm wearing cotton now, and while they are not sweaty per se, they would likely be much more comfortable with a sock that wicks the excess moisture that rubber boots are notorious for. These are cute, different (in a good way), and ultimately comfortable. They also seem to fit true to size.

I'm returning these for a couple reason. First off, I'll discuss the sizing. In my Angelfish boat shoes, I'm a 6.5. In these, I ordered an 8 and there's some room left over, but personally for me in a good way. The top part of the boot is too wide if you have thin legs, and it's not flattering. The color isn't black, but a dark navy. Also, the bottom looks worn and yellowed when they arrived. Also, when carrying them, they are really heavy (contrary to what the video says). Probably the heaviest shoes I've ever tried on. I'll be returning them, but someone else might like them. Zappos is wonderful and easy to return things from, so this is the best site to try anything out.
