The style and comfort of these shoes are exactly what I was hoping for. The one MAJOR drawback is the tread. With as much as a mist on the ground, poured concrete or any other smooth surface turns these shoes into ice skates. I'm no sailor, but for a shoe called Top-Sider Boat, this is the last shoe I would wear on a boat unless I want to go overboard. Several times now I have slid and luckily caught myself before falling, beware.

I got the Brown-Sahara. They look slick and are comfortable. The sizing seems off, so I went down a size and they fit well. The insole heel is wide and presses the leather out which looks a bit tacky. I found that if you take the insole out, you can mold it with your hands to prevent this from happening. I have a very high arch. There is no arch support in these, but it doesn't bother me since I am generally barefoot or wearing flip-flops. If you have arch problems, you may need an insert.

The shoe was very uncomfortable. The leather inside felt rough and irritating even with socks. I like the style but not the feel.

These are wnderfully comfortable, and really light weight. There is not much heel structure at all, so they almost feel like slippers. They seem to run about half a size too large, but they are fairly narrow so hopefully they will stretch a little during break-in. I'm no sailor, but for a shoe called Top-Sider Boat, this is the last shoe I would wear on a boat unless I want to go overboard. Several times now I have slid and luckily caught myself before falling, beware. Whoever wrote that review definitely is not a sailor has never been on a boat. Non-marking soles are a must, and all important deck surfaces (top-side surfaces you might call them) have anti-skid. I have 6 or 7 pairs of shoes with soles like this and they work perfectly on modern boats. Boat shoes actually have their name for a reason, hard to believe.

I went with the Brown/Sahara color and was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They looked better than they looked online. The leather quickly develops more of a casual worn look than a dressy one. The shoe felt true to size - it's long, but the toe cuts in. I think it would have been too narrow on my toes if I went down even a half size. It is a very cushiony shoe with a pronounced heel that slopes downward toward the toe. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and the plaid insoles are a nice touch.

Amazing shoes, plain and simple. Very comfortable and lots of cushion...Was having ankle problems with another pair of shoes and once I started wearing these gems, my ankle problems have somewhat subsided. Very stylish and have that Western/Italian/Chic look to them yet are very casual and outgoing. Note that there will be some extra space in the shoe after your toes, but that is normal, because these are somewhat round toed and you need that extra space. Overall, a cool and stylish pair of shoes that I am glad that I got. Only thing I worry about is how long the foam-like sole will hold up, but then again, it is the foam-like sole that gives it that comfy and plush ride. A good investment indeed, and I usually don't do reviews, but these shoes merited such. :)

I love these shoes. It's so hard to find men's shoes with some kind of style, and these are great. They fit very well and feel very comfortable. And they look fantastic with jeans or pants. They are exactly what I was looking for.
