This specific style of Top-Sider is very soft leather, which makes them even more comfortable than the original ones. I highly recommend these shoes! You usually want to buy them true to size or even a half size smaller because the soft leather does stretch and most people choose to wear their boat shoes without socks.

From the moment I put on the shoe it felt perfect. I did not know that the straps on the side help to secure the fit around the heels! Other brands simply have them for looks. One minor thing was a protruding thread in the inside of the heel part on one shoe that I snipped with small scissors. The only reason I noticed was that I felt it wearing with no socks. Color appears true to the picture and the burnished leather has a great worn-in feel to it. Wore them in the rain the first day and no slipping on the sidewalks!

Product was brand new in original box, absolute perfect condition as mentioned. The amazon picture makes them look a little raggedy than they truly are. They're a little brighter and much nicer in person. The Sperry site has a better picture. All in all awesome shoe!
