These are great dress shoes for boys. They are comfortable and have a soft non-slip sole. Great that they come in wide, as so few boys' dress shoes do. Only disappointed that my son is now in the largest size available.

Love these shoes. They cost a little more than I would normally spend, but the look is just right, they fit well, and my 6-year-old loves them. He picked them out himself a couple of years ago, and now each time he outgrows a pair he elects to have a bigger size of the same exact shoe. Thank goodness they haven\'t changed the style!

There is almost a hole in 50 days. I bought a pair for my son and daughter. My son's shoe started showing wear right away and now the rubber sole is coming apart and there is almost a hole worn through the front toes. My daughter's shoe is not near as bad but the appearance did not hold up well for the price.

Good shoe for narrow foot - My kids wear these shoes in brown as their school shoes. My daughter needed black shoes for several parade events she was participating in. These shoes fit her feet really well and her feet didn't hurt after walking in the parade. Recommend for good fit and comfort.

I bought these expecting the outstanding comfort, style, and support Merrell is known for. I have purchased at least 15 pairs of Merrell women’s shoes over the years. While they look great, the comfort is about what I’d expect from a pair of Keds, Converse, or other flat sneakers. There is no arch support or shock absorbency. I tried to add store bought inserts, they help somewhat. Ended up giving these to my 19 year old daughter - who loves them - with the warning that she would be sorry if she didn’t take care of her feet now.

Nice dress shoe - These shoes were bought to wear to a wedding. They are nice, because my grandson can also wear them to other places (not too dressy, but at least they're not sneaks). A nice shoe for a young boy. Zappos- your delivery is GREAT!!!!!

We've been buying the Tevins for years...they are our go-to dress shoe; we even got the white ones for First Communion! Well constructed, comfortable, and the laces are long enough that my son can manage to tie them properly on his own.

These look really sharp on my son. However, they already have a lot of scuff marks just after 3 wears.

I bought these shoes for my 6 year old son for school. The suede seems to be holding better than leather. The last pair that he had were leather and they were scuffed relatively quick and never looked clean again despite my efforts to polish them. The other thing I like about these shoes is that they are waterproof. The sole could have been a little sturdier, it seems to be wearing out already after one month, but I don't know if there are dressy shoes out there that could survive my son. However, overall I am pleased with these shoes.

Do not buy these shoes if you are using them as part of a school uniform. They are very comfortable, but do not wear well for everyday use. This is the second pair that I have purchased in 6 months. I thought maybe the first pair was defective, but the same problem is happening to the second pair. The back sole of the shoe separates from the bottom of the shoe.
