Such a great shoe! My 9 year old says these are the most comfortable "nice" shoes he's ever had. Can easily go casual with shorts as well. The support is great, and he looks like one of the big kids with his first pair of Sperry's. Good support. Laces are not leather so they tie easily and stay tied.

My son wanted these shoes like his older brother. He has a wide foot so they are more difficult to find. We ordered from Zappos because even though I was unsure of his size, I knew there were free returns on Zappos. I knew from experience with my older son that these run a little big so I ordered a half size smaller than he usually wears and they fit perfectly and look really nice. I like them because they look nice and he will wear them since they are in style.

I purchased these shoes for my son because they were an acceptable shoe for his school uniform. I love that it has a sneaker like sole to it. The only reason I gave the shoes four stars in style was because they are a bit chilly in the winter with the mesh on the side (according to my son), but not enough to bother him. These have quickly become one of his favorite pair of school shoes.
