I bought these for my boyfriend. He's not a fan on flip flops but he loved these. He lives out of them on the weekends.

I'm returning these, the size is not quite right. I have a wide foot so ordered a man's, but it is not quite right. The toe area is too long. Am ordering a woman's to see if it will work.

I decided to change brands and I am glad I did. These are very comfortable, and required no breaking in time. In other words, they are great!

This sandals broke after two weeks of wear. I wasn't rough on them at all, but the strap tore off from the base of the sandal. Also, the bottoms showed a lot of wear and tear, more than should be normal for only two weeks of wear. I'm a fan of Spenco insoles to help with overpronation, and I thought these would be a great solution to allow me to wear sandals. In theory, they are good, but in practice, not so much. They really don't help with overpronation much. Despite having arch support, the sandals don't have anything to keep the foot from pronating. Spenco should stick to insoles and maybe license their insole technology to a real sandal company that can make quality sandals that will hold up over time.

Despite suffering from plantar fasciitis - I go to the beach all the time and love flip flops (which are probably why I have this ailment in the first place). I bought these because I have found Spenco to make quality insoles. My Reef sandals were not cutting it with the arch support so I bought these guys. All in all a decent sandal for the money - it's like having a Spenco insole built in and the looks are comparable to Reefs. What I do miss about my Reefs is the superior cushioning. The Spenco's feel a bit too thin and need to be a bit more rigid - Alas it's not without faults but a pretty decent flop altogether. Oh yeah - I wear an 11 in dress shoes and ordered a 12 (like I do with running shoes) - the size 12 is perfect.

My husband loves these. They provide nice arch support that you do not normally find in flip-flops. He loves them so much that he actually golfed in them.

Virtually identical to the Spenco Total Support Sandal (midsole/footbed is slightly more cushy). Moderate arch support and heel cup- nothing to write home about. Not sure what purpose the metatarsal support serves. Uppers are comfortable and toe thongs are reasonably comfortable. Treads are pretty sticky. Forefoot is moderately flexible while hind foot is rigid. Construction seems a little cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for. Basically, a poor man's SOLE or Superfeet.

Finally, a pair of comfortable and supportive flip flops! Comfy right out of the box. It's clearly evident these flips were designed with comfort/support in mind. Those who have sensitive/achey feet should get a pair of these. I never heard of Spenco until I researched shoes recommended by the American Podiatric Medical Association. I'm now sold on the Spenco name. They're so supportive and comfortable, I'm now going to place an order for a pair of the Spenco Siesta.

Better than average arch support, but the shoes feel really small. I'm a huge fan of Orthaheel, and I thought I'd give these a try. I definitely prefer Orthaheel.
