These might seem a bit pricey for pantyhose but they're so much more. The shaping control is firm. They really do work to flatten my tummy! The material is high quality and the shaping power lasts through many washings. The leg hosiery material is also long wearing. I selected my size from the the Spanx sizing chart, and the fit was just right for me.
Brands I'd also recommend: Flexees (but they don't offer pantyhose)

These ripped in the heal in just 30 minutes. They are not as durable or as opaque as I had thought, which is unfortunate, because the Spanx portion is excellent.

After wearing these only once, holes appeared in these hose. They did not get snagged or anything. I've had much better luck with drugstore hose that cost under $5. I purchased two pairs of these and this happened to both. Very disappointed, I have a lot of other Spanx items and have up until now been happy with them.

I wear Spanx even though most women do not wear any pantyhose. I would feel uncomfortable wearing dresses without them--I grew up wearing hose. Spanx are sleek and shaping, snug and comfortable, but the huge downside is they do run or tear very easily. They are very expensive in the long term. However, the way they make me look and feel in dresses is the reason I do not buy a different brand. So if you want an excellent fit and are willing to get a run on the first time you wear these, on occasion, then I recommend Spanx In-Power Line Super Shaping Sheers. This specific style is a very nice sheer and your legs and tummy look great, but it does NOT have a reinforced toe, making it more susceptible to runs from the toes. So this style of Spanx is great if you can only learn how not to get runs! I'm still trying to figure out why I can wear some for 5-10 times, and others just once. Go figure!

I'm sure these look great if you can get them on without ripping them but I could not accomplish that! The discrepancy between the two materials (the top and the bottom portion of these hose) makes them very hard to get on. Just be aware of this fact if you buy these and put them on very carefully.

Got a run within 10 minutes of wear. They rolled down over my stomach over and over. (I'm not obese...just a little pouch left over from 2 kids.) This is not a quality piece of merchandise. I'm going back to regular control top pantyhose.

Love these! I wear hose all the time - I'm a teacher and on my feet, in heels, constantly. I love the shaping I get with these and unlike some of the other reviews, I have never gotten a run! I will continue to buy them - perfect color, perfect shaping!

Fabulous! These pantyhose stay up, do not sag anywhere and are not hot! They were hot when they were first produced, but not any longer. I am ordering some more. I am 62 and my waist is hiding, but these hose did not crawl down my tummy like my other brand was doing!
Brands I'd also recommend: Cole Haan shoes with Nikeair Technology!!
