This was quite comfortable and did the job, but there is a problem if you're a shorter woman: it's proportioned for those who are at least 5'6. In order to get the correct shaping effect and not have folds around your waist, you need to pull it all the way up. But, that left me with a good 3 inches too much at the top. (I'm 5'3.5, for reference.) I folded the extra down, and it worked OK for what I was wearing. But, it obviously isn't a solution if you're wearing something very fitted or made out of a thin, clingy fabric. I hope Spanx will consider making their products proportioned for height in the future.

I am very disappointed in Spanx for this. Their size chart is wildly inaccurate. According to the size chart I am smack dab in the middle of size B. However, when I attempted to try them on, I couldn't even get them over my thighs because they were so tight! And I'm not even a pear shape with bigger thighs and hips, I'm an apple (the whole reason I purchased this product in the first place)! I didn't want to push it because I knew they would rip if I did. So annoyed!

This product does what it is intended to do; hold everything together. The only drawback is having to pull it down all the way to relieve oneself. I would suggest crotch snaps or velcro (I cut/sewed the crotch and put in my own velcro). Otherwise, it's as comfy as a compression garment can be.
I'd also recommend: this is the only one i've tried, no suggestions

This garmet is great. I wear a lot of knit dress that have a tendency to cling. The spanx briefs evens out those bumps I've had since the kids were born. It makes my silouette seem smoother. And if your're wondering if it stay up, it sure does. It has hooks for your bra but I've never had to use them. And it's great for back support. I really recommend it.

I love my Spanx! I totally can relate to women who have been working out hard to get rid of their muffin top. I am a person who loves running but still, that does not completely diminish my muffin top, so thanks to this amazing product, I can now wear my skinny jeans and my favorite cocktail dress without worrying about my muffin top. The fabric is so firm and it hugs your body at the right place giving you the absolute curvaceous look. Usually, this kind of product would leave a rash on your body because it is body fitting and close contact to your skin, but not with Spanx, it allows your skin to breath and it absorbs sweat well too. I would highly recommend this to everyone. The only flaw is that, it tends to roll down, so what I do is to tuck it under my bra, that way, it will not roll down. But still it is a great product.
