Shoe Size: Felt a full size larger than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked
These are serious snow boots, but they are cut huge. I ordered my size as there wasn't a concensus in the reviews about sizing and they are just too big to be comfortable. i think these are the boots that so many of the Vancouver Olympics staff is using so they do have their merits.

These boots are awesome. Built for lots of snow, not for walking around town. My feet are ALWAYS cold and these are toasty. The felt lining is very thick. Highly recommend for cold, outside wear in the snow.

I accidentally wrote this review under "Sorel Glacier", but it is really the Snowlion which I have. Great boot! I have had these boots for over fifteen years and wouldn't give them up for the world! I have used them for snowmobiling and shoveling and snowblowing and to/from skiing and snowball fights and I also wear them to/from work (before changing into business shoes) when the weather is nasty! I have no trouble driving with them on. Oh, they also came in handy when I rented a sewer auger and spent a few hours crawling around in my front yard in the snow! I do wish that they had a little more arch support (my 4 star rating reason) so that more walking could be done with them (and they do sort of have you stomping around like Herman Munster), but they are nice and warm and keep the snow out with their high tops. I bought these when I wore a size seven, before I had a child and my feet grew (you ladies know what I am talking about), but even though I now wear a size eight and have wide forefeet, they are still very comfy. I don't think that they will ever wear out, so I guess I won't get to buy new ones for me, but my son could use some soon (he just outgrew his kids' Sorels). If he would just quit growing, I would make the investment and get him the men's version!

Shoe Size: Felt a half size larger than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthYou need these boots in your life. These are FAR less clunky than shows in the photos. And I really don't know how people could think these are too heavy. Maybe I have strong legs but they felt just great to me! These are the perfect snow boots - they even fit over skinny jeans, which I know is a silly concern if you're out shoveling snow, but say you come home and find you have to shovel a parking space for yourself, and you have the skinny jeans on, well you'll just appreciate these that much more. Not quite a half size larger but that was my only option to choose. If you wear thick socks they'd be perfect. Even if you didn't, you could lace them a bit tighter. Most awesome, amazing snow boots of my dreams. Yes they are snow boots but hello, anyone who has to wear these won't be walking down a runway any time soon. And honestly I think they look awesome and people even tell me "They're cute!" Buy. These. Boots.

Love the boots, in temperatures down to and below zero, going out to the barn in the morning, my feet are warm. It is unfortunate that they don’t come in l/2 sizes. Having to go one size up means either two pair of socks, or one pair with a sock liner or a fleece inner sole to take up some room. Even at that, they are very comfortable. Your whole calf stays warm. I would recommend them to anyone who works outdoors in really cold weather. The other plus is they are not heavy in spite of their bulk, so it’s not tiresome walking.

Great boots! Well made, very lightweight, and a perfect fit; just what was needed to stay toasty warm & dry shoveling heavy wet snow. Nice treads for trekking about. Very comfortable, well worth the price.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size larger than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthThese boots rock. I wasn\'t 100% sure at first, after a few days in freezing MN weather I\'m in love! I am a true 6.5, I wasn\'t sure to go with 6 or 7, I went with 6 and they fit perfect, the inside boot really molds to a wonderful fit. Hope this helps. MN winters are way more enjoyable with warm boots, snowpants and a groovy hat!

Shoe Size: Felt true to size
It was very easy to navigate Zappos. They had the product that I wanted, the price was good and free shipping. The boots fit perfectly. I had another pair just like them, but after twenty years they developed a leak. I was happy to find them on Zappos.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size larger than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to width
These boots are awesome! about true to size, maybe running 1/4 - 1/2 size big. They are not as warm as they claim to be, however. They are absolutely watertight/waterproof. NO water is getting through them, which i\'ve thoroughly tested. They do get cold around 5 degrees F however, not even close to the -40F that they claim. Very comfy, and I like the style.

Shoe Size: Felt a full size larger than marked Shoe Arch: No arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthThese are awesome warm boots. I actually had to order a size smaller than my normal size, which never happens, but once I got the smaller size it was a great fit. They are very comfortable for walking, not as bulky as I had anticipated. I love the extra height for deep snow and also the closure at the top so that snow does not get in. And my favorite quality, they don't pull my socks off when I walk! I love them!

Shoe Size: Felt a half size larger than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI got these boots especially because I was planning a winter trip to Minnesota and needed something warm, comfortable, versatile and stable. These are all that and more. Fit: I'm a wide 8-8.5; these fit pretty well. I got the 8 as I know from previous experience with a different Sorel boot that they run a little large. The 8 fits well, maybe still a little loose. Definitely comfortable in the width. There is plenty of room for thick socks. Warmth: Boots are super warm! Shoveled snow for several hours with zero discomfort. The pac lining is very comfortable, and slips in and out easily. You can even wear the liners as indoor slippers, good for if you're visiting. Appearance: I get compliments all the time on the white boots; very cute looking, quite fun. Boots don't look as big and bulky as you might think. So far they've been easy enough to keep clean. Overall, I like the boots, would buy again. Good traction on the bottoms, comfortable to wear, easy to pull on and take off. They might feel a little bulky on, but worth it for the warmth.

I was shocked at how fast the shipping was. It's less than 24 hours! I wear a size 8.5 and got a 9. There is still room to put heavy socks on. They are very warm. I did not think they were too heavy. They seem to be a good quality boot so far.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI had never had snow boots before, so they feel heavy to me. They also are extremely warm! I am yet to use them in the snow though. They are really comfy, too. Considering that they are snow boots ,they are even a bit cute. I purchased the white ones, and those look nice. I suppose they are more useful than anything else.

My husband has had a pair of these boots for years and swore by them so I thought I would give them a try. They\'re not too stylish for women but they sure are functional for any kind of deep snow activity. I love that they cover up your pants so when you\'re shoveling snow, your pant legs stay nice and dry. They also keep my feet warm and are a comfortable fit (even though I\'m a size 8.5 and purchased a 9 since they don\'t come in half sizes).

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthWas very excited to get the boots and Zappos delivered in no time flat. I wear 7.5 and 8 was a good fit, not big but snug with a heavy sock. The boots are well made and very warm, also comfortable, but they are going back because they are just too heavy and too clunky. If you need to be outside at subzero temps for hours, by all means get them. However, for Boston streets in the winter and occasional sledding and snows shoveling these are too heavy duty. I will buy something else at Zappos instead, with free shipping and returns they make it easy.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI have these boots and absolutely love them. This is the 3rd winter I've been wearing them and they are still holding up in the snow and cold. I ordered a 1/2 size up. I normally I am a size 7.5 and I got an 8, which gives plenty of room for thick socks. Other boots may be a little cuter but if you need to brave the cold then these boots are ideal. I highly recommend them.
