These shoes are comfortable and warm. I wore these to travel to NYC during winter so I don't have to bring so many shoes. You can wear them with leggings or jeans so they were perfect for me. I used them as quick slip-on shoes to walk my dog in the morning in NYC during the winter time (without socks) and didn't have to worry whether my feet were going to be cold and wet.
I'd also recommend: Hunter

Great! My kids love them. They look less bulky than other Sorel boots. My daughter can wear them to school with skinny jeans or leggings, and not have to switch out into regular shoes.

My granddaughter loved them. Now we are waiting for rain; however, she informed me you can wear them in the sunshine too.

I originally purchased a size 5 for my daughter and ended up getting a size 4 (she wears a 4 1/2). Once we got the right size, they have been worn to school in the rain and we just came back from a ski trip. These boots have kept my daughter's feet warm and dry, and she says they are very comfortable.
I'd also recommend: UGGs
