My 8 year old son says these are \'good and warm\'. He wears snow boots everyday for 4 months, these seem durable.

Bought these for my 9 year old son. He says they are super warm, but doesn’t like how large they are on the top - we can tighten them and then he says they are ok.

Well, when one buys this type of boot, they've obviously decided to control their boy's "foot comfort." That means, keep the snow out, and the wetness out. It all works out for the best when one buys these boots, except when they decide to make-mirth in deep powder snow, and/or decide to wade into a 2 foot deep body of water. Then the boots become ballast, more or less. Of course, it is not the fault of the boot. They are excellent. The wonderful thing is that the inner linings are very thick, felt composite looking material that remove easily from the main body of the boot. What does this mean to a prospective buyer? Well, in the time it takes your washer dryer combo to cycle completely, you can wash then dry them (each piece separately), and junior can get back outside and out of your already frizzled hair. Buy the boots, and if you live in mountains where snow fun is the idea, buy two pair so that you don't have to worry about if he gets into deep wet. You know he will, anyway. These boots go great with BB Guns.
