Great for very cold temperatures. These are large, heavy boots, so probably not the best for playing in the snow, but perfect for sitting for long periods in cold weather (i.e. fishing or sporting events in winter).

These boots are the warmest and most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I snowmobile and these are the best! My kids love these for playing in the snow. They would not be ideal for lots of walking and shopping! They are snow boots! If you want to have warm feet all day in zero degree weather, these are the boots for you! They fit true to size. Youth size 5 boots is equal to a women s size 7.

Oh my gosh! In my quest to find the warmest boots out there (I am a 37 year old female with very hard-to-fit small feet) I loved these boots. But they were just too much boot for me! I so wanted to keep them, but I after walking up and down the stairs three times, I got an ankle cramp! And I'm in good shape! They are awesome boots, and if I ever go to Alaska I will buy them again. But for hiking around Chicago and Wisconsin, they are just too much. I finally settled on the Caribou Sorels.

These boots are very very heavy and ran quite large. While they are for "youth" they seem much more "adult" in their looks. I am sure the quality is great, but for someone looking for a snow boot for their 11 year old (as I was) these are not a great choice.
