Sorel Kids Reviews

Got these for my two-year old so he could put on and take off his own slippers. The slip on/off style makes it simple for him and they stay on well enough to not interfere with his walking. They seem a bit small when you first get them, but the lining flattens out so they fit just fine now.
I am an adult female who liked the look of these shoes. I wear a 7½ women's, ordered a 5 and a 6 youth, and ultimately would have fit the 7 with socks. However, I did not end up keeping them because they did not feel quite right when I stepped - the sole and heel were thin. The walls were thin and not as warm. They were as tall as I would like them to be. I wanted to use them in Vermont as winter shoes and I do not think they would have been warm or tall enough for the snow.

Apparently they are very comfortable & warm- - my 7 year old grandson loves them! I did order them a size larger than his current shoe size for growing room, but with the furry lining inside, they stay on his feet just fine.
I have purchased this boot for my 4 year old son for two years in a row. Winter 2011 I paid full price (note: not cheap) and they were wonderful. These really are high quality, well-made boots. His feet were never cold, not once, despite playing outdoors in the bitter cold for hours. They were so great I bought them again for the Winter 2012. Everything was exactly the same: great quality, warmth, etc. However, toward the end of the winter, in February and March, my son's feet started getting wet. The water, we discovered, came in where the material meets the rubber. The rubber was not cracked. It's that the water resistant coating (the PU Coating) may have started to wear off, or perhaps did not ever work. In the months the boot did not protect his feet from water, the snow was more slushy. I did take them to the store where I purchased and they told me that the only part of the boot that is waterproof is the bottom. So, buyer beware. We did not have any problems with the first pair. With the second pair, after 4 months of wear, they did not live through the entire winter season (Wisconsin winters have snow from November-April).
Great quality and durability. They are expensive but worth it as you can get several seasons out of them and then sell them once the kids grow out of them.

I got these for my kindergarten son. He had been complaining about his cheaper boots not staying on his feet. He likes these a lot since they have the tops you can tighten. They seem to keep his feet warm and dry, although we only got to use them a few times this season. I bought them big to use next year.
The Sorel Kids Flurrys kept my 11 year old son's feet warm and dry during a two-night Boy Scout camp out in the snow. These were more comfortable than other brands we tried on at local sporting goods stores. The free next day delivery was a major plus.
I got these for my 8 year old who was jealous that we all had slippers except him. He loves them and wears them daily. I got them a size bigger so they would last a year which I hope they do. AND they match daddy's, what could be better!
These shoes are comfortable and warm. I wore these to travel to NYC during winter so I don't have to bring so many shoes. You can wear them with leggings or jeans so they were perfect for me. I used them as quick slip-on shoes to walk my dog in the morning in NYC during the winter time (without socks) and didn't have to worry whether my feet were going to be cold and wet.
Super comfy! Love these... I wear a ladies Size 5, got these in a Kids 3 - perfect fit. Supportive enough to wear all night around the house doing chores! Not too hot to make your feet sweaty.
These boots are very very heavy and ran quite large. While they are for "youth" they seem much more "adult" in their looks. I am sure the quality is great, but for someone looking for a snow boot for their 11 year old (as I was) these are not a great choice.
These boots are great! I thought they would be a little heavy but they turned out fine. Don't think they're that hard to put on like the other reviews say, but that's probably because my son has thin ankles and feet. Only thing is snow sometimes gets inside because there is a little gap again probably because he is thin. Otherwise shoes look really cool and is fun to have matching family shoes.
Bought these boots for my 5 year old son. He loves them! They are light, warm, easy to put on and best of all they are warm and waterproof!
Love these boots! These are my 3rd pair for my 6 & 8 year old boys. I decided to try something different this year and bought some North Face boots for my 8 year old. They claimed to be waterproof, but he wore them out in the snow once and his feet were wet. I returned them and went back to the trusty Sorels. We've never had an issue with cold/wet feet with these.
Great boot in the snow, super comfortable according to my 9 year old son. He wore them all day in school they were so comfy (whether or not that was laziness & not wanting to change his footwear - who knows, but he loves them and so do I). So well made I'm hoping to pass them on to his little brother!
I bought these boots for my 6 year old, to replace a pair of the same boots he grew out of. After three months of daily use, the fasteners that hold the rings to tighten the boot have ripped. We've never had this problem on previous pairs of Sorels, but it is disappointing, especially considering the cost of the boot.

Always a success with Sorel! My kid wears these boots for hours playing in the snow! I always order big so they last two winters, so I do not truly know how they fit. Yank those liners out, let them dry -- stick them in a low/med dryer or on the radiator over night, and they are ready to play again! Sorel makes winter fun! Now, where is the snow?!!?
