Finally, warm toes! One thing that's always bothered me when I'm hunting is my toes getting cold. Well, not in these boots! They're well made and WARM!

Better than I could have imagined! The warmth of this boot was unbelievable. The thinsulate insulation was, as expected, very warm. But the boot is several inches taller than other boots. It is amazing how much warmer the boot is when it rides just a little higher on your calf.

Best Boots I have ever owned - My wife well, girl friend at the time bought these for me about 20yrs ago and I still wear them. I'm looking to buy a new pair. Because the old ones are looking a little worn but are still in good shape. Keep up the quality. {awesome boots!!!}

Great - The Sorel's Glaciers boots are best boots that I have ever bought for my husband and 13 year old son. They spend a lot of time on the ice and outdoors and their feet stay warm. My son’s feet would get really cold in his old boot and now he doesn’t go outside with out his Sorels.

Wonderful winter boots! I initially bought these boots to ensure warm feet during winter snowshoeing hikes into inland lakes in northern Ontario. Well, the warmth and comfort, I did get, but wow, were they heavy! They are made extremely well made, but I would only recommend them for winter sports where a lot of walking would not be required. I absolutely love these boots anyways. Thank you Sorel!

Very Happy - I brought these boots for my boyfriend. He works outdoors, sometimes in very cold weather. He told me his co-workers were wearing these on a specific site and their feet were warm. SO, I decided to suprise him with a pair for Christmas. Not only was he suprised, but he likes these boots very much. He stated how warm and comfortable they are. Since the winter hasn't been that cold, he hasn't worn them at work yet. But, he dose wear them to put out the trash, to go start the car or just around the house. I CAN'T GET HIM OUT OF THEM!

Great service - The free shipping was great. I was able to track the order online. My husband said the fit was good and they are warm, just a little heavy. Style isn't an issue when you are towing people out of ditches at 2am in the snow off the side of the expressway.

Awesome Boot! I bought a snowmobile in the spring of 2005 and after getting all of the Polaris gear I needed boots, but couldn't afford the Pure Polaris boots. I found these and am I glad I did! These boots are definitely the warmest things I have ever owned, and snowmobiling in sub-zero weather on the Tug Hill Plateau in Upstate NY last winter was wonderful because my feet were toasty warm. I would highly recommend these boots for anyone looking for value, comfort and warmth when sledding or doing any winter outdoor activity. They are heavy, and wouldn't want to be walking for a long time in them, but that isn't an issue when snowmobiling. One pair of socks underneath is all I needed to wear, and the boots were very comfortable.

Trust this review, I used to sell top line outdoor equip. Got these in august I think. It was 90 something outside. However, I do own a pair of Caribous and they are warm, and they have nothing on these. these have insulation in the shaftof the outer boot, a thick removable liner and even a removable insulated insole in the liner and another between the liner and the outer boot. I am not worried about the cold even while winter camping or doing astrophotography. They are heavy. These are NOT made for walking long or even moderate distances. They do fit very well and would be great for outside workers (snow removal?). These are made for low activity in cold weather. They are rate to -100F, but would be great for anything below about 15F unless you are very active. Sorels fit true to size, but with the molded rubber bottom, they will never break in and are not exactly tailor made but with heavy socks they are like a walking on a cloud and fit very well. Finally, the uppers are probably water RESISTANT, not waterPROOF. If you need a boot rated to -100F, liquid water should not be an issue and they are well enough insulated that your body heat will not escape and melt the snow.

Best deal I ever got! We have used Sorel Glacier boots for years. My son had grown out of his and needed a 13. I could not believe I got these boots for $46.95!!! They are the real thing - they are warm even in Northern Minnesota winters - they look great even a couple of years later - they are tough and keep the water out.

Sorel Glacier - The insole on these boots is extremely soft and cushioned, but the boot is very bulky and heavy on your feet. Good for snowmobiling or any activity that does not require a lot of walking. I am returning mine and opted for the Sorel Blizzard which is a lighter weight boot.

Sorel Glacier - You definitely can order these in your normal shoe size. They seem to run about 1/2 size large. Nice, warm and very cushioned boot, but I wouldn't want to walk far in them as they are very heavy! I bought these for my boyfriend and although he has not tried them on yet, I think I will have to return them for a smaller size.

The best boot I've ever owned! WOW! I'm certainly impressed with the Glacier! I live in Maine and spend a lot of time snowmobiling and ice fishing during the winter and was looking for a boot that, would meet my needs and after wearing these boots this last winter, I've got say that, I'm really impressed at how warm and comfortable this boot is! With one pair of socks and temps well below zero, my feet were warm as toast! I bought a full size larger to accommodate for one pair socks, the boot is a bit bulky but, I walked around in them just fine! I wouldn't want to walk around the mall all day with them but, for snowmobiling and ice fishing there perfect!

Good snow boots - I like the boot, but the size was larger than I expected. I ended up selling these to my buddy and ordering a smaller pair. My feet never even thought of getting cold in these boots. They are very good in snow and are easy on easy off.

Sizing important - Wonderful product. Your feet will be warm and dry. One caution: do'nt oversize. If you wear a 9 shoe, oder this boot in a 9.

Toasty Warm - Very bulky and a bit heavy, BUT VERY WARM!! My feet are always cold and it makes enjoying outdoor winter activities very hard. I just went snowmobiling with a high temp of 6 degrees. I wore my sorel's with one pair of socks the whole time and my feet were completely warm and comfortable. They have so much cushioning it is like walking on air too.

Great Boots - I haven't had to use these in really cold weather yet, but compared to my old boots, there is no comparison, these are the best snow boots I've owned. Very good traction, very comfortable for such large boots, and most importantly WARM. If you want to wear with large socks, probably best to get a 1/2 size larger.

The Bomb! These boots are awesome! I got them last week, shoveled outside for hours and all the while it felt like I had my feet resting next to the fireplace. I ordered a pair for my husband as well and he is equally impressed. We both ordered one size larger than we normally wear and are glad we did. The only run about 1/2 small, but I'd rather have them 1/2 too big than a 1/2 size too small! They are a little awkward to get around in at first, but I rather wear them and be warm (even if it means looking like a goofball!) These boots were worth every penny.
