Living near Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake it gets very cold in the winter. The first couple of months we have lake-effect snowfall and I wanted boots that would keep my feet warm while I shoveled the white stuff. My Sorels do the trick, whether it is 1 inch of snow or 1 foot of snow my feet still stay warm. Last week we had our annual winterfest with the temperature around 12 degrees. I was outside for 3 hours and my feet stayed warm throughout the event, thanks to my Sorels.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI have worn Sorel since I was a kid. This new style fits very well once you squeeze your foot down into the boot. The strap is nonfunctional in my opinion. I would buy these again. I suggest they drop the strap and provide a little more room to get your foot into the boot in the ankle area. The warmth is just as I expected from Sorel. The tread provides excellent traction in snow and on ice. I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear and they fit snug with everyday socks.

The boots fit fine, except for the left ankle where the side buckle is. Wore them the 1st time in Steamboat Springs CO where the temp was 25 and had no problems with cold feet. Upper leather a little stiff and that caused some problems in driving, but overall a good value, just need to break them in more.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthThis boot is fairly comfortable although a bit like walking in a ski boot. It was -4 degrees when I used the boots and the bottoms of my feet froze after about 30 minutes.

Good snow boots. Very durable, warm, awesome waterproof, and look great. The only thing I was not completely satisfied about is comfort. They are not bad, but they also not as comfortable as my Columbia boots. Is you are looking for a tuff warm boot, these are it. But if comfort is more important to you, go with something else.

Great boots. I love the synch chord on the top of the boots to keep the snow out. Boots are great for snowshoeing. They are warm and rugged. Easy to walk in. They fit great to my feet and aren’t "swishy" like some winter boots. Lots of laces and a snap to keep the boots perfect fit!

These boots are by far the best boots I have ever purchased. They are the only boots my husband will wear. We live in the Adirondacks and it tends to get well below zero with the wind chill. These boots not only keep his feet warm, but they keep them dry and they are very stylish. These boots are a must-have if you are looking to please the man in your life. This is the third pair he\'s owned. They are rugged and very reliable!

Shoe Size: Felt a half size larger than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt narrower than markedGood shoe for the price that Zappos offers, which is the best price along with their customer service. I purchased a size 10 D width, but should have gotten a size larger taking into account that I would be wearing thick sweat socks. Relatively a light boot and not too heavy, but heavy duty were it counts, which is the bottom hard rubber layer and sole.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to widthGot these to replace cheap snow boots I\'d had too long and love them. Size feels right (in 13 men\'s) and they are warm and comfortable.

I purchased these boots for my husband and he just loves them. In Iowa, we get a lot of snow and he said not once has his feet gotten cold while out shoveling and snowblowing.

Awesome boot! Very warm and one of the most comfortable boots I\'ve ever worn. Hard to believe it\'s a \'pac boot\'. I\'d highly recommend to anyone who\'s remotely interested.

I just don't really know how to properly express my feelings about these boots since they've brought me so much joy and warmth in the short time that I've owned them. From the sledding hill to mucky walks to work these boots haven't let a single snow flake or puddle of New England slush touch my foot. Plus my son thinks they look cool. They've got this pulley thing at the top so you can make them snug around your calf and some sort of strap in the back that lacks actual utility but really makes me feel like they could potentially do something special if I knew what it was for. You should buy these boots. And if you don't like them, just sell them on eBay and I'll buy them from you at a big discount (size 9.5)!

Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthFantastic Boot. Wore them to the Winter Classic and never even thought about my feet. Wish they made gloves like these boots. I did get 1 size larger for a better fit. Very comfortable and good arch support when walking around Fenway and Boston. Waterproof and very warm. Perfect for the rinks too!

I bought a pair of these boots prior to a December trip to Ukraine. Every part of me except for my feet has been wet and cold here and for that I can thank these boots! They are great!

Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt narrower than markedBought these boots last spring for ice fishing this year. Just tried them out this past weekend and they do not work for keeping your feet warm. We were out in 20+ degree weather and feet got cold even with layered wool socks.\r\n\r\nThey also fit extremely small. I wear an 11 and probably needed a 13 for these boots.\r\n\r\nI would not recommend this product to anyone who plans on using them for winter outdoor activities.

These are a great pair of boots! The type of boot you can wear everyday. They are very comfortable, and your feet can actually breathe. Above all, the black matches everything, which is good. This is my first experience with Sorel shoes and I am very pleased and let's not forget the super fast service, ordered yesterday and today I got them. I had to switch from the usual Columbia boots, which sadly I shook the snow off from the weekend blizzard from NY, and the boots collapsed. They cracked and the stitching came apart. I will stick to the pioneers this time.

True to size, great fit. I bought them a half size bigger than I wear for a better fit with thick socks. Best boot that I have ever purchased. \r\nOnly complaint is the strap on the back of the boot. It is completely useless. You either need to remove it or superglue it so it will not move. Other than that it is an awesome boot. I would still buy this boot time and time again.
