Insoles - I have very narrow, skinny feet and have to wear insoles and 2 pairs of sox to get my 4A shoes to fit. Thought my shoes were wearing out, or stretching out. Ordered the Sorbothane Ultrasoles, and when I put them in my shoes, the shoes were comfortable again. Insoles don't last forever, will eventually break down, and you need to replace them. These are the best I've ever used!
Brands I'd also recommend: New Balance shoes

Am training for a 10K and developed nasty shin splints midway through training. Runner's World mag suggested inserts and found these for a reasonable price on Zappos. They are great. The description was right on. I wear a 8.5 so I ordered the 8. Fits great. Shin splints gone and haven't returned even as I increase mileage. My long run is now 5.5 miles and no shin splints.

True to size and very comfy! Fit right into my New Balance 608v2 shoes and made them feel like brand new. I have used Sorbothane insoles since 1986, but these are probably the best yet.

I put these into my new Nike Pegasus and older Asics gel nimbus for running and walking, and they have transformed the Asics! Take out the insoles in your shoes, and you'll see that there isn't much there; these insoles replace those thinner ones, and you can see and feel the difference. Highly recommended for all tennis shoes or active shoes and boots.

I'm a huge fan of Sorbothane insoles, but these were too narrow for my standard-width (women's, of course) Mizuno running shoes. The unisex version worked much better for me.

These work really well so far. I bought them with a pair of Nike running shoes. I think these take up a lot of space in the shoe so I would order a half size larger if you are buying a new shoe to go with these inserts.

Relief from shin splints! Incredible! I read all of the advice on relieving shin splints and didn't want to rest for 2 weeks, so I discovered these. Rested 2 full days and did 1/2 my usual workout on the 3rd, then inserted the Sorbothane Insoles and have had no pain since. Just wonderful!

This particular model sorbothan insoles womens ultrasole are great for sneakers. The added cushion and arch support are just right for me. I wear boys sneakers because they are cheaper and when wearing these insoles, I am not compromising in comfort. It would be nice to have the option of sizes in wide. I will be buying these again. These are my mother's favorites (age 77).

Absolutely awful. I purchased these for my running shoes and experienced foot pain with them I've never even had before. I walked around in them prior to running and the fit felt great. On my run, my feet began aching. Obviously not the right fit for my foot. There are other great reviews for these, but they didn't work for me at all.
