This is my second pair of Sole insoles. I use the slim in my cycling shoes and it solved serious hot spot issues on the ball of my foot. I was still feeling the hot spots in my NB runnning shoes that I wear daily. I replaced the stock insoles with these and I am as comfortable as I'll ever be. No more hot spots, and able to stand for 10+ hours. It's amazing that you can pay $100.00 or more for running shoes and the insoles are a strip of barely formed foam. Using these insoles adds 50% to the cost of my kicks, but it is worth it in my opinion. I do not heat mold these inserts; just insert and wear. Especially for cycling shoes because standing on the floor will not replicate your foot position once you're on the bike. Your feet may hurt a little until you get used to them, but the wait is worth it. I will factor buying a pair of Sole insoles into the purchase of any shoes I buy in the future. It definitely adds a chunk of change to the overall cost, but the increased comfort is worth it. I'm also buying them for any shoes I have that I wear regularly. I have used Spenco and Superfeet in the past and they do nothing in comparison. I'm stoked that I tried these out, because foot discomfort sucks!

Got these for my cycleing shoes, but what i learned the heard way is that these are made for running. Since the arch of the solo is towards the back. My feet went numb when using them. Since when we cycle you are on the ball of your foot, you need an arch support that is a bit more forward then a running arch since the weight for running is mid to rear. I ended up using a cycling insert from Specialized. These might be good for running, but I don't run.

The arch support begins too close to the heel causing bruising and pain. I suppose this varies with the shape of one person's foot to the next; however, it is important to note that one size does not fit all.

I bought this for my 12 year old son and he loves them. He uses them in soccer and since has stopped complaining about his heel. It maybe a snug fit, though.

Excellent aftermarket insoles for my road cycling shoes. I have medium to high arches and would get pain on the outer blade of my foot after several hours riding. I needed extra arch support but did not want to spend a few hundred dollars on custom orthotics. These fit the ticket are thin which is must for cycling shoes since stock insoles are also very thin. Does take a few rides to get used to the extra support and following the steps for custom molding in the oven was simple. I liked them so much I bought a second pair for my MTB shoes 2 weeks later.
I'd also recommend: Superfeet
