Second pair of slippers (as we call them in Hawaii, where we wear nothing else) for my husband. He was against anything but the cheapest pairs and was very skeptical of spending more on a pair of slippers, but I went out and got these when he started to have Achilles tendon pain so that he could only wear athletic shoes. These were the lightest pair with good supports - many similar pairs are incredibly heavy and part of the joy of slippers is that they don't weigh anything! These have worked out to be good buy, they lasted over a year of daily wear and now he can't go back to buying cheap flat slippers. The old model had narrower straps, which he preferred (he likes everything basic, simple) but the soles and everything else are unbeatable. Also washable and didn't stink after a year of frequent dousing in salt water and mud. Well worth the money.

Great flip flops! I wore Chaco sandles for 10 years, but due to a foot injury can't have a strap over my fifth metatarsal. I couldn't find sandles with foot support like Chaco until I discovered these. They fit very securely for flip flops. The met. button feels OK to me because I have high arches. Someone with flatter feet might 'feel' it more. Size note: I wear US mens size 8.5 or 9 in all of my running shoes, and hiking boots, but size 8 in Sole and Chaco.

Have been searching for the perfect flip flop for a long time. I have many pairs and they all have problems. These are well made, look good and they don't slip off your foot (that's huge). My search is over and I can't tell you how happy that makes my wife.

If you have flat fleet and prefer to wear flip flops, then I think these are for you. I received them about a month ago (excellent shipping from Zappos) but only first wore them for an extended period of time this past weekend. Unlike previous flip flops that I've worn, these have felt the best right out of the box. Reefs are a close second. I imagine that once I break these in more and they mold to my foot more, they'll get even more comfortable. The cushioning is great. There was a bit of friction in the toe wedge area, but for me this is normal and I think this will go away once I break them in some more. They're a good looking sandal too. Comparatively, it's an expendsive sandal, but for me and my weird flat feet, the price is right.

Sole is the flip flops you want if you have any type of foot problem. I have had surgery on heel and left one gets very sore. I love to be bare footed, but can't do that for long. I can however wear these all day and night and not have a problem. They do take a week or so to break in and what I mean is they feel funny until they form to your foot! Look good and feel great - What more could you want?!

I bought these for my husband. He loved them. Very comfortable. He wore them every day and night for our 2 week vaction without a car, so lots and lots of walking. Fit is perfect and they are classy looking.

I spend the winter 6 months each year in Hawaii almost always wearing flip flops or sandals. After developing a painful case of plantar fasciitis in one foot 1 1\/2 years ago my podiatrist told me to wear shoes with more arch support. That was when I first tried these Sole sandals. They helped through the recovery of my plantar fasciitis and I am hooked. Even the podiatrist was impressed by them. I have a pair at my mainland home now and wear them regularly also. The arch support and orthotic design makes them very comfortable and I would recommend them to anyone. After wearing the Soles I could never go back to any other flip flop or sandal.

Zappos really came through: when I ordered a 10 and they arrived ( a day later!) they were a little too small. I called customer service and they had an 11 to me in just a couple days. The sandals are fantastic. Wore them in Mexico for my honeymoon and never had my feet, back or knees ache like flat cheap flipflops make happen. They look good around the pool w/some board shorts or just strolling downtown!

SOLE is awesome - I got the grey and red color combination. I was really surprised when I put these shoes on. My foot does not slide around when the shoe is wet. The shoe doesn't SOAK up water and turn into a sponge. They don't make that obnoxious "FLIP-FLOP" sound when I walk. They look cool too. I would still consider them casual wear only though, I wouldn't probably wear them out for martinis or to the doctor’s office.

Cannot be without - You cannot be without these flip-flops. This company has done everything right on the design of these flip-flops. They have the best arch support and deep heel cup that I have ever come across. And they have done it in a way that looks great too. The footbed is soft density foam while the outsole is durable while still staying light! The footbed truly does mold to your foot.

The best arch support for slippers - I could not believe how high the arch was, as I have been waiting for a slipper like this my whole adult life. They are not as cushioned as I would like but they make up for it in arch support. They seem to get better with time as they mold to your foot. If they can just put a little more cushion in the heel it would be even better but, BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE HAD YET.

I just spent 2 weeks on vacation with these things and they maintained their comfort the whole time. I've only had them for a short time so I'm not sure how the smell factor will work out, but so far so good. Definitely recommend them.

The first pair of flip flops my husband will wear! My husband can't stand wearing flip flops, but I convinced him to try these since he's a fan of Sole. He loves them and wears them constantly. Got "SOLE" - I have had many flips. What would one expect since I live in Florida? I wear Flips year 'round... and these are the best I have worn. True comfort, little to no "flip". The foot bedding really does conform to the foot... another thing, even when saturated with water, my foot does not slip when walking. I am impressed.
