These are very comfortable except that I have really high arches. I kept them anyway. Too cute! I think they'll stretch some. I have other softwalks that have. One more thing. If you are ordering black, think brownish black, because that's the color you'll get.
I'd also recommend: softspots, keen.teva and springstep. All wonderful, expecially these

Let me start by saying I had to send these back. I noticed after the first time I wore them, which was just a couple hours, that the thread was unraveling near the buckle, which was really disappointing, because they are really cute and extremely comfortable. A couple other things worth mentioning is that they are a bit clunky, though still fashionable, and they do run a bit on the small size. I have tiny, petite feet — size 5 — and these fit like a glove, which surprised me, as I'm finding more and more size-5 shoes run large these days. They are a little narrow, or narrower than I'm accustomed to, as I have a pretty narrow foot, but otherwise, as I said before, they are extremely comfortable. I had also ordered these in the black, which I had to send back as well. The color was almost more of a brown, and they were a little too orthopedic-looking for my taste.

Softwalk is the most comfortable shoe made for wide feet. I have a bone spur and this gives me the support needed to not aggravate it. I have 3 pair of this brand. as for this shoe, it is every bit as comfortable as I expect. the color is not a solid black though, in the right light it looks more like a dark purple, which is okay for a little variety.

I bought four pairs of SoftWalks at about the same time. I have not worn Milford yet. I fell totally in love with Abilene (S1272-200). I am happy that I bought two pairs! They are my kind of shoes!

I love these shoes. But the color is more of a cordovan brown rather than black. I find that after much trial and error, Soft Walk are the most comfortable for me. They're so cute I am going to keep them anyway.
