Bravo Zappos! Bravo SoftWalk! I got this sandal less than three hours ago and immediately put them on and went to the grocery store. They are still on my feet (and I never wear shoes at home) and they feel great! I just ordered them in another color. Since there were only 2 reviews I read some of the other SoftWalk reviews (although I know styles can differ you can get a feel for a brand). The only "complaint" I read that I can agree with is the hissing sound when you walk. But only one of mine does this. It must be in the construction of the wonderful soft egg-crate footbed. No matter. So I hoped I would find them at Zappos. Hurrah!

Barbados are the Bomb - I love the look and feel of these shoes. SoftWalk are the only shoes I buy anymore other than sneakers. The only issue is one another customer mentioned previously: one of these shoes seems to emit air as I walk, making an audible flatulent noise. As long as I'm not in a silent room, there's no problem, but in church or a quiet classroom, it sounds like I should have added Beano to last night's meal. Otherwise, I love them!

Comfy - Excellent fit for sz 10 EE. My Barbados are very comfortable. They look feminine on. Not clunky @ all. I will not accept a pr of shoes that fit from out of the box. I've always had a good result w/SOFTWALKS!

Stylish, comfortable sandal - Saw this shoe on another website, but checked Zappos to see if they carried and indeed they did! Love the no hassle return policy and free shipping both directions...anyway back to the shoe. It is very, very comfortable and I enjoying wearing. Would recommend this shoe to anyone who is looking for a comfortable yet stylish sandal.

Great walking shoes - I bought these shoes for travel. Immediately, they were soooo comfortable that I've been wearing them all around town. They also provide very nice support. I bought them in a rust color which is neutral and coordinates well with most of my wardrobe.

Brands I'd also recommend: Flyflot and Simple. I have a high instep and can't wear many other walking shoes.

Comfort and style - I had never worn an open back sandal before and was a little hesitant about buying them. However, they fit and feel perfect and I can wear them for hours. They don't slide off my feet. SoftWalk has never disappointed me.

Love my sandals... These sandals are fantastic. So wide, so comfy. The only issue I have, and it's a small one, is that the strap that is adjustable seems to be too high on my foot. I would like to tighten slightly, but it doesn't fall at exactly the right spot. It's probably my foot...

Practically perfect in every way! At last I've found perfectly comfortable sandals! The Nubuck straps, so soft and flexible, make all the difference. And blessings on Zappos for bearing with me through three returns until I found Softwalk Barbados. The terracotta red is cute as well as comfy.

Can't get beyond the noise they make. I read the other reviews and hoped the air noise made by these shoes was minimal or a hit-or-miss. Unfortunately, both shoes made that light whoopie cushion noise and I can't get beyond that. If not for the noise, I would have kept these shoes. I love the look (bought the red) and they were soooo comfortable. I bought my usual 8.5W and the fit was great, although slightly short.

Amazing Comfort Sandals!!! Quality: Excellent. Look: Very nice, not trendy or unique. Comfort: No breaking in...like walking on a pillow. Can't get a shoe more comfortable. (I live in AZ and in 110 degree weather, my feet were so comfortable.) Fit: Perfect I love these sandals. Zappos customer service helped me find them online when I explained what I needed. This is a very nice shoe. I have super-wide feet with a high arch, and Softwalk is one brand that I can really rely on for a comfortable, well-made and supportive shoe. This is such a terrific brand, and I find myself buying Softwalk almost exclusively because there is very little of the hit and miss I experience with other brands. I do wish Softwalk shoes in general were a little more fashionable, but Barbados is a nice, casual summer sandal that I don't mind being seen in. I plan to wear them with a skirt to my job on days I have no meetings. I've done this once so far, and they're fine and look cute. I ordered an 8WW, and they fit well right out of the box, with an extremely comfortable footbed. They seem a little long for an 8, but the width seems right on target. Two things that concern me: the edges of the straps are not as rounded as they could be, and they dig into my feet a bit. I think once they're broken in a bit they'll be fine. The other is that I hope they don't stretch out as they get broken in. The fit is good, but if they stretch, they will be too loose. As always, wonderful service from Zappos! I ordered them Tuesday afternoon and they were waiting for me when I got to work on Wednesday. You know, you just can't beat that.

The perfect sandal - This shoe is perfect, looks great, and comfortable right out of the box. Easy adjustable strap for a secure fit. I love these so much that I ordered another pair before they are gone! I plan on taking them to Europe this summer - they should be great on those cobblestone streets!

Absolutely love my shoes - These shoes are the wonderful. Have worn them constantly. Due to several surgeries on one foot and constant pain, I have to change shoes several times daily. Not with these SoftWalk Barbados. I have worn them constantly from am to pm. This is my first pair of SoftWalks.
