Fooled Me! During a hectic pre-travelling shopping trip several years ago, I bought a pair of navy Angel shoes, congratulating myself on having paid so little for a well-known brand. I wore them. And wore them. And wore them. One day, finally intrigued by how well the shoes were wearing and wondering WHEN I'd ever need to polish them, I looked closely and discovered my Angel's uppers were made of plastic! (OK, "polyurethane") I pride myself on my appreciation of quality materials, and I normally wouldn't be caught dead wearing a pair of shoes with synthetic-uppers, but here I was, fooled by the natural look and feel of the synthetic material in these shoes. In addition, I was amazed by the fact that the shoes never seemed to trap perspiration, in spite of my feet living overseas in countries with very hot climates. The padded insoles and "just right" heel provided me with hours of comfortable walking. Those shoes finally gave out on me after 5 years of faithful use, and I'm considering buying another pair this summer while I'm home in the States.

I Agree! YES - these pumps fooled me into thinking they were leather... YES - they wore and wore and wore!... YES - I've bought them again and again while other nearly-new pumps stiffen in my closet... YES - the styling even makes my 11 ExtraWide gun boats look graceful! YES - I've gotten other friends hooked on these pumps..... TRY 'EM!

My "Golden" shoes! I usually never will send in my comments about any product I buy,but I must admit... I am in love with these shoes. I bought the GOLD SMOOTH... and I wear them with EVERYTHING! I get compliments on this shoe no matter where I go. I am waiting for my second pair to arrive. I am a shoe FANATIC, people who know me tease me and often call me "IMELDA". I have well over 100 pairs of shoes and boots...NO KIDDING!! This shoe provides me with comfort and class, and as any woman who own many shoes will tell you you either get one or the other... but it is so rare that you find them both in one shoe!.. I want every color of this shoe! I purchased this shoe in grey, but I will be ordering it again in other colors. Haven't had a shoe this comfortable in a long time that looks a little dressy. The best part is that the shoe is wide enough for my foot!

No mall shopping. Good shoe for work. The heel isn't too high. I couldn't find a size 11 in the brown family for several months, and searched in many stores. A friend told me about Zappos. My first online purchase. I bought 2 pairs of shoes at a decent price. Had size 11, brown, in less than a week. No shipping... no tax. You can't beat it!

All in the soles... I have been a fan of Hush Puppies shoes for many years and when I couldn't find them in my local stores, I refused to buy any new pairs until I found Zappos.com. In fact, I even wore them everywhere on my 2-week trip to El Salvador. These shoes are extremely affordable, beautiful, and durable but best of all they are soo comfortable and even in my size (8.5 W)! Extremely flexible soles make them the perfect shoe for any activity. With no tax and free shipping, Zappos.com has great service and I got my shoes delivered to my door within 3 days of placing my order. I will definitely order pairs in every color. Try them and you'll become as big a fan as I am!

Devil or Angel. I have hip & sacroiliac problems and needed to find a dress shoe that provided comfort, style and most of all proper cushion to minimize jarring my joints. After reading others review of this shoe I tried it. Not the most comfortable shoe I've worn, correct size but hurts the toes and does not offer cushioning I needed...I'm back on the hunt for a better shoe.

Patti R. from Ohio. This is the BEST all around comfort shoe to wear with casual or dress attire. I can wear the shoe the entire day and not have my feet hurt like the average high heel shoe would. I will have three pairs at home when my next order arrives...black, navy and now, bone. I hope this shoe will always be in style and available to purchase in the years to come when I need to replace my old.

Diane, from, NJ. I love this shoe! I have five little boy's and can wear this shoe and still be able to run. I can wear this shoe with jeans or shorts and feel dressed (not like you would feel in sneakers). It has a little bit of heel,so you don't feel like your walking flat! I've been wearing this style shoe for about 8 years now. I really love the white for summer. White shoes are not easy to find and if I had my way, I woud wear white all year long!

Wonderful shoes!! I purchased two pair approximately 4 years ago. Just last night I wore out the final pair. I have always worn Hush Puppies shoes since I was a kid because of the odd shape of my foot (narrow heel and med width toe). I look forward to having another set to last as long as the last 2 pairs.

Great Shoes I have been buying Hushpuppy Angle II shoes from JCPenney for years and when I recently stopped in to buy another pair and found out that they were discontuing I paniced. I was glad to find they were still available here. I am supposed to wear orthotic inserts and flat shoes because I have a problem with my feet. When I found these shoes years ago and discovered that I didn't have to give up wearing a dress shoe I was relieved. I can wear these all day long and my feet don't bother me. I have them in several colors and keep a new pair in the closet so I always have a spare pair. They may last up to 2 years but I wear the heel down eventually. Please, don't ever discontinue these shoes!

Angel - wings on my feet Been wearing Angel's over 12 years, and can't say enough about them...except that they're hard to find in stores. This purchase is to replace a well-worn pair which has been re-heeled to death (but I'm still wearing it til these come in). By the way, I prefer being bare-foot, so you know these must be comfortable.

Love these Angels. I've been wearing Hush Puppy, Angel II for years and years. Hope they never go out of style. At this moment, I have in my closet, white, navy, and black. Looking for red, in size 6 1/2 med, but hard to find.
Brands I'd also recommend: No other recommendation, wear only Angels. Why, because they are the most comfortable.

I've been wearing Angels for years. These are my high heel and my low heels. They look dressy enough and I do not plan to go back to a high heel that throws my spinal alignment off. I've had an old pair reheeled and use it almost over the new pair which I want to keep nice. I wore 9N for years, but about the time I needed bifocals, I discovered my feet needed more room. I moved to a 9 1/2N and now use a 10N. I find an insole helps in the toes. Narrow shoes are hard to find. Please do not stop making these. Bless you!
