I have sensitive bony narrow feet, so my review is probably not as glowing as others would write. The silk sock is smooth enough, but it's not as thin as I would prefer and the elastic at the ankle is a bit too tight, something that probably wouldn't bother anyone else unless they too have my same foot problems, in which case I would not recommend them. Elastic-free socks have been impossible to find in this country, so even the most difficult foot might be relieved to have this sock. For the ordinary foot, it's probably a very good sock. I would have to disqualify myself from rating it.

These socks are not the quality I expected for the price. \r\nThey do not stay pulled up, I have to constantly pull them up or roll them over my boots, or they slid down into an uncomfortable mess in my footbed.\r\n Also, I have only washed and worn them twice, but they are already pilling. \r\nOn a positive note, they are very comfortable (if you can keep them up) with a very cushy heel and top of the foot. \r\n\r\nAgain, not what I expected for the money.

One of my running friends gave me a pair of Injinji performance Tetra Soks about 2 years ago, and now they are the only kind of sock I wear for running (25-40 miles/week). I have not had a blister or hot spot, and I like the feel of each toe snugly wrapped in wicking CoolMax. I prefer the mini-crew to the micro style because the micro slips into my shoe. For trail running, I use the "sand" color; it's the color of dirt.

These are so worth it. They made my boots so comfortable to walk in. I love them. They replace wearing heavy socks which would have been too warm this fall. They will make my boots warm enough to wear in the slushy snow.

These stink unless you are an infant. Too small. They shrink after one wash. I bought these because I had the same (I thought) for about 3 years and they were fine. These are not the same. I got xl and they just don't fit. Gave them to my daughter who has feet half my size and weighs only 110 lbs. She couldn't wear either. Her comment to me was that they were too tight on her leg.

SmartWool is that: smart. It's warm in winter and cool in summer. Merino is the king of wool; there is nothing finer. If you care about your feet and want to feel good all day, wear SmartWool. These little slippies are perfect inside your little flats you would normally wear with nothing, but they up the comfort level immeasurably. Take a look at the inside of your shoe. Does that really look comfortable? It's not meant to be; that's why we have socks. But we sometimes don't like the look of a sock, or perhaps your shoe won't accommodate the bulk of a sock. No matter. These sockies are thin enough to fit yet still feel substantial enough that you don't feel all the lumps inside your shoes. Wash them in cold without softener for the best of the merino. Also, hang them to dry instead of throwing them in the dry. They will shrink a little bit. The package will tell you it's okay to dry, but don't do it unless the socks are actually a little bit too big for you. "Dry low" just gets too hot in the average home machine, and these socks are too precious. Hang them on your lingerie rack, over a hanger, on the towel rod, or just lay them out on top of the dryer. Don't complain about the price. Your feet are worth it. And, by the way, I'm still wearing the first pair of SmartWools I bought 15 years ago. Try that with a bargain pair.

Could ask for nothing more. My Wrightsocks are just now beginning to wear through under the toes after more than two years of almost daily wear. I have thrown them in the washer and the dryer (on low) again and again, with no pilling or shrinkage. So unless the manufacturer has changed the fabric since I last purchased, I can testify that these socks are great! Very comfortable, look great. After wearing these socks, you won't want to wear anything else for walking or working out.

I love these socks! They stand up to daily wear and hold up to anything you throw at them. Not only are these socks good looking and comfortable, they are excellent at wicking moisture and keeping your feet dry and sink free. They stay in place during any activity, never leaving you with a blister. Lastly, I love that regardless of what you step in or walk through the top of these socks look spotless. that is true for both the black and white. \r\n\r\n

Love the welly socks, very warm and cozy (but haven't put them to the full test yet as it hasn't been cold enough). I appreciated the sizing information. I'm a size 9 and would likely have ordered a large, but a medium fits just fine (maybe just a tad short, but the large would have been ridiculous).

This is a wonderful sock. Who knew the lowly sock could have such significant design elements? This sock is worth every bit of the price. The Wright Sock fits nicely to the form of the foot, at least to my somewhat narrow, low-volume foot. I love the way it feels around the arch. The arch is elasticized in such a way that it supports and almost massages the arch. The bottom of the sock is lightly padded. This tiny extra bit of padding is not noticeable to the eye, but what a difference it makes to the foot! This particular Wright sock also has moisture wicking properties that add to the comfort of all day wear or vigorous exercising. It is truly surprising how much difference a sock can make in the way my feet feel throughout the day. I love these socks. I started out with two pairs and found them so wonderful, I eventually ordered four more pairs. I should also mention that these socks hold up very well. I wear out socks quickly, but these have lasted and lasted.

Be aware that this is not really as thin as a typical American "trouser" sock. If your shoes are sized to fit nylon socks or pantyhose, this sock will be too thick. Also, the color is a blend of brown and black, not what I would consider "blackberry". I didn't unpackage the socks to try them on so I am just giving everything 1 star.

I am so thrilled to have discovered these awesome socks. Having small feet, I have always found most socks to be too large. But these come in sizes and fit perfectly snug. They are supportive and moisture-wicking; great for working out. They have become my favorite and only sock.

If you are seeking a cushioned, comfortable ride for your running or jogging excursions, of course it\'s important to pick the right shoes. But another big factor is: socks. Who knew? These Thorlos have substantial structure and depth. Together with appropriate shoes, they can insulate your feet from the significant shock forces involved in even casual running. Just don\'t wear them to the office, the job market is just too tight these days.

I was a bit disappointed when I first received these socks and felt how thick they were as I thought they would be too hot. But once I wore them I found that wasn't the case at all. They are so soft and comfortable to wear and are very breathable. I can happily wear them all day and I am now buying another 3-pair pack.

A great accessory for great boots! I've worn Hunters for several years and learned that tall, thick socks made them more warm and comfortable. The Hunter liners are the best, though. They're warm, thick, and baggy. They make it easier to take the boots on and off without your pants bunching up. They add a little highlight to an already good-looking boot. After I take the boots off at home, I keep wearing the liners to stay warm.
