Wool Worth the Money! These smartwool socks are absolutely awesome. They look great and are very comfortable. Not to mention, they are incredibly warm. I bought three pairs for my girlfriend for her birthday. I only wish that I could have gotten them in three different colors instead of three pairs of the same color. Knowing this, I still bought them and I would totally make the same purchase again. Zappos amazing service had these to my apartment in two days, adding a tremendous online shopping experience to a top notch product.
Brands I'd also recommend: anything in the smartwool line of products will not disappoint

Great socks overall. Fit is great. Thickness is good, they shouldn't wear out too soon. I have sweaty feet issues and with these socks in my waterproof bogs my feet are dry and warm all day long. So far the temps here have been between 10-30 degrees.

I work on my feet outside all day, and these are my go-to socks. They fit perfectly, keep my feet cushioned in the right places, and they never bunch or slouch. Although these are thick cushiony socks, my feet are never overheated. They are well made and appear to be holding up well after several washes: no observed fading, shrinking, pilling. I love these socks!
